This is a lovely hotel which retains many of the historic building features, such as beautiful tiling, wood panelling and lighting. All done whilst providing modern and comfortable facilities in a great location. Highly recommended.

Excellent location. Rooms very clean. An issue with the toilet cistern constantly filling was dealt efficiently and we had a new room straightaway. Very pleased with the service.

First of all the building is amazing! Steeped in history and much preserved. The staff on reception from the minute you arrive to the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were all very friendly and efficient. The room was large and very comfortable, with lovely toiletries and coffee/tea making facilities. Loved the security to accessing the bedrooms too.

The room was well appointed, the only issue was the lighting. The lights could have been brighter as some areas were dark.
