I called ahead for an early check in but was told no. I was told that we could drop our luggage and come back at 4. I was told there was someone on site at all times although that's not what the booking said. When we arrived to drop the luggage, we could not find anyone and waited for about 15 minutes while our taxi meter was still ticking. We finally just left our luggage. Everyone is asked to remove their shoes at the door. Check-in went smoothly. Rooms were small and beds slept ok but pillows were very flat and all bedding could use an update. Towels were so rough they felt like sandpaper. One positive thing is it was close to the airport but the owner did charge us around $40 to take us to the airport. Just saying, I would not stay here again

I got bed bugs bites all over from staying in the angel room last night. Thankfully I didn’t bring any of my luggage inside but beware because they can hitch a ride in your luggage. Yuck

This was a great stop and excellent location. Clean, comfy and the owners were very accommodating when our flight landed late. Highly recommend for the value and location to explore Iceland!

Our stay at the Raven was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and magical. We got a great night sleep and woke to a plentiful breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again. The host was gracious and took wonderful care of us.

Was so excited to stay at this place but we had to leave in the middle of the night as we found bed bugs. Since it was in the middle of the night, we had to sleep in the car to avoid being further bitten.

Lovely old style Bed and Breakfast. Quirky and comfortable. Host was very friendly (ask to see photos of volcano eruption!). Great location for a quick trip. Shared bath(s) was a bit awkward but fine really. Breakfast selection was immense and very good.

I was apprehensive about having a shared bathroom, but it all worked out just fine.

Quirky. One night and twin beds for mom and daughter worked. Bathrooms downstairs make you sort of not want to shower. Towels interesting. Nice breakfast. Had to wait at the airport despite giving info needed ahead of time. Flight number given and landed on time but it was a cruise charter and did not show up as an inbound flight so did not get picked up until we waited and had to call and wait again. The knick knacks and antiques were amazing. Close to the walkway on the shore.

Rooms for two were comfortable. Could use more hooks to hang in the coats or any type of clothes. Food options near the place wasn’t any. But their location near to the airport is very convenience. They also offer transportation for a fee to the airport. Isn’t bad and is a few per room. Not per person. The only thing I didn’t know or I didn’t read about the share bathroom. But wasn’t that bad, but not ideal for me.
