Room was great and hotel was next to Winchester Cathedral. We spent 3 nights there and made day trips out to Stonehenge, Jane Austen’s house, etc. The included full breakfast was exceptional! Staff was very friendly.

We stayed two nights at the Old Vine. The location was excellent, walking distance from the Cathedral and shops. The room was spacious, clean and generously equipping with all the amenities you would expect.

We had secure parking kindly offered to us and the shops are very close.

Staff is very friendly and breakfast is delicious. Lots of great amenities like slippers and drinks in the room.

Fantastic location

We had an enjoyable stay at the Old Vine. A very quaint traditional inn with a nice restaurant (food very good), bar, and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Firstly, the staff, Laura and Bailey were very inviting, naturally friendly, full of life and welcoming. Secondly, excellent room, location, and coziness of the bar, dining lounge area. And thirdly, the legendary breakfast did not disappoint. And our lamb casserole at lunch was a taste sensation…

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Vine. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us as we came in quite late. They helped us with parking and we found our room well stocked with everything you could possibly need on vacation! They even brought our breakfast at our room so we could, continue on our travels quickly. Our room was quite large and very comfortable!
