The room was next to a pub with very loud music right on the head board bed. Impossible to sleep until midnight! I asked the personal to change room and they didn't. We could move the day after to another one facing a backyard with chickens and very loud too, including the rooster starting at 5 am! We also could hear the music from outside. Shower was not the best, having problems with the hotel water that took for ever to heat. The hotel is in the very top of the hill so don't care any bagage. Very short in breakfast staff, almost empty and when asking for extra milk or cheese, the lady wasn't very friendly. Very loud and not very friendly. I will not recommend to anyone.

The hotel room was very clean with a nice view of the street from the window and a peaceful sound of the river. The beds were very comfortable and neatly prepared for our arrival. The bathroom was also clean, but the shower didn't have hot water initially. The older gentleman at the front desk was very kind and he fixed the issue right away after letting him know. The rest of the staff was also very hospitable because they cooked eggs to order in different styles during the complimentary breakfast in the morning and they offered to store our bags while we were out during the day.

Breakfast was good with nice variety. Staff friendly and helpful. Several rooms rented by my group and found hot water lacking and 1 with toilet broken.

If youre looking for a nice place to stay in Aguas Calientes on your trip to Machu Picchu, the Viandina Machu Picchu is a great place to stay in. Rafael the owner is very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our overnight stay in this hotel. The location is accessible to the machu picchu pueblo which is center to everything, nice restaurants and places to see.

The hotel was in terrible condition and poorly maintained. The entire town is so humid due to constant rain, but the hotel is poorly maintained which makes it worse. Bathrooms had no ventilation and moldy. The bathroom doors will break if you don’t move it with extreme care. The rooms were smelly. The staff were kind, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I had to stay with kids, so we found it very difficult. We even skipped breakfast due to the smell in the hotel

Good staff, convenient location. Bathroom door needs to be fixed, when we arrive the window was opened and there were bugs in the bed sheets. A lot of noise from another guest in the hallway.

Check in was a mess. They seemed to be having a problem with their check in system and a lot of other people were also waiting to check in. Once we were able to check in there were no towels available for the room. The WiFi did not work for the entire stay. On the plus side they did have good "strong" coffee at the included breakfast.

Tried to get some rest in during the afternoon. I understand this is not after hours, but the maids were a floor above jamming to music sounding like they were having a party and not working.

Seems like a family run facility. The room was average; no where close to what is shown in pictures. There was no hot water for shower.
