Room was lovely and spacious. Was in an accessible room, and bathroom was super overall, but the shower floor divider was not effective in keeping the water in the shower drain area. So after a shower it was a small lake and very slippy in the main bathroom and I used several towels to mop up. Otherwise the amenities were lovely, including a makeup mirror in the bathroom, small fridge with a freezer tray, coffee maker and supplies, and tv that was not complicated. Lighting and privacy curtains were effective. Enjoyed my stay and the rooms were quiet.

Great hotel to stay with eating options nearby

The Sandman have great amenities including Moxies for dinner. This restaurant was connected to the hotel. It had a great variety of meal options including seafood and steak choices. The wait staff were very helpful and friendly. There was an adjoining Denny's for breakfast.The hotel also had an indoor swimming pool.

The room smelled of sewage and damp. Do not recommend.

Sandman hotel is just south of Burlington skyway bridge. It is a clean and well maintained hotel. There's a walmart nearby and and Denny's & Moxies restaurants on the property. Good hotel to stay at if you are staying in Hamilton and need to get on the highway fast.

Check in was good and staff seemed friendly. The room wasn't to the standard of cleanliness I normally encounter. The door in the bathroom around the handle was disgusting. It was literally black with many people having touched that area. I don't know how cleaning staff couldn't see that. The shower was very difficult to actually turn on and work. At one point I thought I was going to rip the faucet off the wall because it wouldn't move. The second night we stayed until the morning was no hot water. I would expect better for the rate we paid.

Bathroom floors had muck in the corners. Black Mold in the balcony sliding doors. Bedroom had a hole in the wall covered with tape. Carpets have not been washed in a long time. Staff was helpful.

General opinion is that this hotel did a facelift to make it look new but did not upgrade the facilities or infrastructure. Pool tiny and shallow and so cloudy the bottom is not visible Air conditioner can’t hold constant temp Power surges , lights brighten unexpectedly Pillows are old ones will little stuffing left yet crammed into pillow cases to look like squares as they are folded so they appear full instead of flattened Tv’s older and fuzzy with only basic channels No bottled water in room Tap on bathroom sink has a spout that doesn’t stick out far enough to get hands under to wash properly Intro package noting which floors drinks machines are on, note on key card envelope explaining key must be scanned before floor level can be selected Selected extended checkout prior to arrival, but got a call after housekeeping passed by and we declined , asking if we wanted one as they did not see one on our account

Nice and clean, staff were helpful

We came in late and left early so didn't see much of the hotel, but the front desk staff member was kind and eager to offer all options to us. The hotel was very clean. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

We wanted a late check out they said it was ok with a charge of $40 and they charged me $100 and the room wasn’t that clean.

Tv in room is horrible, no tv guide, no menu, channel up and down like watching antenna tv from 40 years ago. Very disappointed especially trying to find world Cup soccer match to watch.

Our stay was disappointing. The service wasn't great the staff wasn’t very attentive. The pool was also much smaller than it appeared, making it feel crowded and not very enjoyable. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Really close to the highway, but traffic noise was not an issue. Lots of amenities nearby including Denny's and Moxie's on site. Parking lot can fill up during busy seasons. Close to everything you come to the GTH areas. Secure and location seems safe.

The room was “ tired” cardboard was used to level furniture, the shower was very hard to use/regulate… etc…hinge on the toilet was broken… noisy all night. Would not recommend!

Room was clean but sofa bed was awful. Kids who never complain, complained they could not sleep on that mattress. Room key stopped working after a day and had to deal with that. No hot water for anyone to shower after a full day of soccer tournament. Also have never seen a smaller pool for a hotel that size. Pretty much the size of a hot tub that can only fit 6 people comfortably.

The holey dirty coach, very noisy room, trouble sleeping, noisy air conditioner. I complained they gave me 60% discount.

Rooms are clean. Pool is very small. No breakfast. No water in lobby. No cots, only play pens.
