I stumbled upon Thikana on a Gemini search and decided to give it a try for a recent week long stay. It was a FABULOUS EXPERIENCE. Atul is a fantastic host. The rooms are clean, well maintained and perfect. They have 2 guys around all the time catering to any need for a quick coffee or a chai and serve up amazing breakfast in the mornings. I tried the Vegetarian dinner sets on a couple of days and it was awesome. Ideally located in an affluent neighborhood and easy access to Uber and other transportation, makes this is a great choice. Thank you Atul for those evening chats and your recommendations on all things local, I am definitely coming back on the next available opportunity.

The room was perfect, and the staff and hosts were incredibly hospitable. I also fell very ill on my last day in New Delhi and the hosts brought me water and electrolytes, and even directed me to a nearby hospital for treatment. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New Delhi and I will definitely be returning the next time I am in New Delhi.

Thikana is a wonderful place to stay, hosts are so accomodating, rooms are large, modern and kept spotless. The food is delicious. Great location, South Delhi is a peaceful little oasis in the big city. If you ask with enough advance warning Thikana can help arrange you a driver for your stay - very trustworthy and very reasonable prices.

A homey atmosphere with a great breakfast. Towels need to be upgraded as they were very coarse and perhaps old.

Good location for sightseeing in Delhi, great breakfast with chef adding a new ‘special’ taster every day. A small, nice and personal property with Sheetal, the lovely owner really caring about how your stay is going and full of advice for dining out. Some rooms are noisy as close to the road

Had a very comfortable stay with family, this place really feels like home. The owners and staff were very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful property in an excellent neighborhood, sure to be back.

Centrally located, friendly and helpful staff, but the hotel itself is not 4 or 5 stars. A tourist hotel that is a reliable place to stay for a night or two. Not great, not horrible, which means perfectly acceptable.

Great place to stay when visiting Delhi. The rooms are nice and quiet, clean and have a good bathroom. Staff are great, owners are very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely homestay! The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. The home is inviting and breakfast is enjoyed with the other guests. The staff is kind and attentive. The owners are amazing! They helped us set up reliable transportation from the airport. This was something we found other travelers throughout our trip had issues with. They guided us as to where to get a SIM and exchange money. And they provided us a contact to set up train travel. All these things were done with true care and not in the unfortunately often exploited “I have a friend” way that one comes across when traveling. They answered so many questions that popped up during our travels. We ended up staying again on our return trip through Delhi.

A delightful stay in a wonderful bed & breakfast. Beautiful terrace, attentive staff & Sheetal the owner was so helpful with suggestions & finding us a car service. Really enjoyed our stay & highly recommend!

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Nice interior. Decent location for exploring south Delhi. A little difficult to find since not marked on the outside. Some rooms overlook major street so ask if traffic noise at night bothers you. Not presently taking credit cards.

We had a fantastic time! The Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and assisted with our travel arrangements daily. They offered a wonderful breakfast and even offered to prepare us a free dinner option on one of our nights! Would definitely return on a next trip to Delhi and will absolutely recommend to friends planning their trip to India!

The property was clean and respectful. It is in a quiet neighborhood and near a main road that makes it easy to pick up uber or a tuk tuk.. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely appeals to an older, more refined guest.
