The room was lovely. There was a fan when the weather turned warm. The breakfast was superb. The restaurant recommendations were spot on. Location put me close to the Abbey and town center.

Lovely stay at the Palmerston Rooms. Immaculate room and surprisingly quiet at night. Everything was very comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Parking nearby in Broadwater road was very convenient and inexpensive. All in all a superb, classic, English Bed and Breakfast experience.

On arrival I was greeted by the owner who kindly took my suitcase to my room on the upper floor. My room was very clean and tidy with everything I needed. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room with ample supplies. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. Breakfast was superb and hot, served in a lovely bright and spacious room, overlooking a pretty little garden at one end. I have already booked another stay. Would definitely recommend this property. It’s in a great location and in the heart of a beautiful town.

Central location with easy access to the New Forest and Romsey Abbey. The whole property is pristine and thoughtfully laid out. The breakfast is excellent.

A great stay, the room was spotless and very comfortable and the breakfast cooked to order was very tasty. The Palmerston Rooms are well located in the centre of Romsey and though straight onto the road we found it quiet, there is no parking at the property but there is plenty of free parking after 16:00 nearby in public car parks. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Palmerston Rooms are very conveniently situated in the centre of Romsey and we found the staff and amenities first class. The breakfast was excellent.

This is a perfect location for a stay in Romsey. The Palmerston Rooms are a credit to its owners. The host were welcoming and friendly and a mine of practical local information and couldn't have been more helpful. My bedroom was comfortable, and beautifully fresh. The competently cooked breakfast was a delight. I would happy extend my stay from a day to a month!

The room was very clean, bathroom spotless. Everything you needed in the bathroom. Tea, coffee, long life milk and a few biscuits. TV. Room was a good size. Breakfast had a good choice and you pre ordered. The owners were a lovely couple and very helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area and would recommend it.

Graham and Kay are very welcoming and professional. It’s a shame that we stayed only the one night. Everything about the place is comfortable and smart and clean and tidy.

The property was outstanding. And only a very do-able 10 minute walk from the Romsey train station - the owner even came and helped with our luggage when we neglected to pre-book transportation from the train to the bnb. And he even arranged a ride to the cruise port the next day!! We will definitely stay there again!
