I’m so pleased we chose this place for our weekend away. We were greeted by Sandra, who was incredibly warm and welcoming, and she showed us to our room, which was spotless and a great size for two people. We were given our own keys, so we could come and go whenever we liked. The guest house had a lovely, homely feel and was peaceful throughout our stay, making it the perfect place to relax. The location is excellent too—just a 10–15 minute riverside walk into the city centre, making it ideal for exploring the shops and local attractions. I would highly recommend staying here.

The guest house is in an excellent location, a flat and easy 10 minute walk from the town centre. This can be taken either along the river or the main road. Once in town you can explore the cathedral and other historic sights or take your pick from the multitude of bars or restaurants. The property has its own car park which is a fantastic bonus given the proximity to the town. Our host Sandra was extremely helpful and welcoming on our arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The shower head in the bathroom was a bit temperamental but the main thing was the water was hot and plentiful ! We didn’t take breakfast but overall found the guest house excellent value for money and would gladly stay again. The only downside was the WiFi was a bit in/out, but having spent most of our time in the town this appears to be generic to the whole of Canterbury. Highly recommended

Gracious hosts, comfortable beds, and easy walkability to City Centre make this property a worthwhile place to stay. The hosts are quite knowledgeable about the area, with wonderful suggestions on both sights and food. Check in and out could not be easier. And it’s a quick walk from Canterbury West Station.

This was exactly what my friend and I were looking for! Charming, comfortable, easy to get to. David was a lovely host and made an amazing full English breakfast!

Had a great stay. Location amazing, being a short walk from the centre of Canterbury, as was the breakfast, the room and the hosts . Cannot fault it . Would stay again.

Comfortable, clean accommodation, great breakfast and a welcoming host. Car parking and being within walking distance of the city are real plus points.

We were pleasantly greeted and explained where everything was there was a booklet in our room with any additional information we may need the room was immaculate it was so much cheaper so than a local hotel and apart from the the room being slightly smaller everything else was much nicer than a general hotel, I would highly recommend a visit.

Super friendly hosts, great breakfast, comfy bed and room was great temperature. Everything was great except the shower is very very very small. We're slim so we managed but if you aren't, I fear you will struggle to even get into it, let alone be able to stand back up if heaven forbid you drop something! I banged elbows against the doors frequently, and there is no shelf to put anything on in there so it's just an all around awkward experience. On the plus side, the water pressure and temperature control were perfect. We'd stay there again but probably request a room with a different shower.

Loved the fact that it's less than 15mins walk to town centre. There's a lovely pub 10mins walk which does lovely food.. definitely would recommend
