Everything was excellent

The accommodation was clean but the attached pub could have been cleaner. Tables were left with dirty plates on for quite a while

The staff were all really nice such fabulous service...such a beautiful location by the canal...food was spot on...perfect location for us...only thing was bed being a hit hard but thats personal preference but would definitely stay again

Good clean and comfortable hotel room. Pleasant friendly staff. Had our evening meal in the pub part. Food was good, but the dining area was a bit shabby, and tables needed a good wipe. Not enough bar staff to serve drinks and take food orders. On the whole though, a pleasant stay and would come again when visiting the area.

I booked the hotel on a Monday for a one night Tuesday night stay with work. I was messaged at 15.30 on the Tuesday to be told my reservation had been cancelled. They whatsapp me to say that my next stay would include free dinner and drinks. The message was then deleted by them and after a phone call to them everything has gone quiet. WOULD NOT USE , AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Food ok and staff great

Obviously a very rough location to stay, Pay as you go bar service, however also have to leave a £50 refundable deposit "for any damages" apparently I said to the girl who checked me in " is it really that rough?" Her response was "yes we have alsorts in here and the system won't let me check you in unless you pay the security deposit" make you feel very welcome...

The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel was clean and in a great location. We had an evening meal and breakfast. Both were excellent.

Nice clean room with plenty of tea & coffee making ingredients which could be replenishing at the hotel bar. Good selection of breakfast options and the hot items were cooked to order.

I use here often as it’s close to family in different areas, my kids are also autistic and the staff here are always so friendly and accommodating. They have set area for breakfast but always allow us to use a quieter area for when my 3 year old isn’t doing too well, I honestly can’t fault the place
