It’s a very cost effective hotel! Staff were super friendly and nice. The room was clean. The shower is quite small, but manageable. The location was great. Close to everything. There is no parking but you can find street parking nearby.

Located in the city center of Portimão, this hotel has spacious rooms and also a nice terrace. To make the check-in and check-out formalities and to have breakfast you need to go just in front of the hotel (it is another building but of the same brand). From the hotel it is easy to reach both the train and the bus station. The rooms are cleaned every day. Overall, it is a nice stay at honest prices.

Good as a hostel, but not really a 3☆ Hotel. Rooms: The rooms were nice. Small but you had everything you needed. Also it was quite clean (not like SUPER clean but clean). The hotel is a bit old and you can see that in the room. However there was a TV and air conditioning which was nice. What annoyed me though were the thin walls - I could hear my neighbours watching TV at night. Staff: Was okay I guess. Not like super friendly, but good service. Kitchen: The hotel had a kitchen. However, the stove didn't work properly and neither did the microwave. No oil to use for cooking. Bathroom/showers: Were ok. You had enough space and towels but due to it being an old house, the bathroom looked a bit used. Surroundings: Quite central, not too far from the station.

On our last day we found cockroaches in the bedroom and in the corridor leading to the bedroom. The girl at reception was really understanding and moved us to another room, but still it seems that only 2 months prior to our stay they had had an issue with cockroaches, so it seems quite a frequent issue. Cockroaches aside, the bedroom lacked a fridge or a proper wardrobe. The shower was extremely small and our toilet was broken so we could not flash any toilet paper without blocking the flush!!! Do not recommend, even if the price was moderately low for august.

Loved our stay at Next Inn! I made a mistake when booking and they were very accommodating. The room was clean and staff were friendly.
