Maeco is a gem - perfect location - will stay again

Stephanie was most helpful in arranging tours and taxis for us. She also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. We appreciate her help very much.

Centrally located is this wonderful B&B run by Martina with a delightful team of staff. The location is ideal for walking around the entire island, with abundant choice of restaurants within minutes. The dining room overlooks the street which makes adds to the vibrancy. The room was comfortable and a spacious bathroom with all amenities including a lovely waterfall shower. Breakfast was a highlight and one of the main reasons I would book this place again - fresh selection of bakery products, cooked eggs options, homemade antipasti. Really useful tips for roaming the island from Martina and Steph with good connections with locals e.g. boat trip, shows. I really thoroughly recommend this B&B.

An oasis in the middle of an old city of Ortigia, comfortably and tastefully decorated rooms and common space. Classic and artful at the same time. Excellent breakfast and an opportunity to meet fellow travelers. Martina and her staff are very helpful making the stay pleasant and memorable.

This B&B is in a very central part of Ortygia. The staff were super helpful and it it very much felt like a family run business. There gave us a lot of attention, and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple but good.

The breakfast menu was very diverse. Things were fresh and tasty. All varieties of coffee served. The people serving were exceptionally welcoming in hospitable. It was a wonderful place to start the day having a delicious breakfast. The property was wonderful one of our favorite places to stay during our three weeks of travel around Italy in Sicily Martina, who first greeted this was so thoughtful caring suggested places to go for history also places to eat, even where to get our laundry done she has an excellent Host and made the day id. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the rooms really comfortable and so clean. The whole place was warm ,which was a benefit as the weather outside was distinctly wet and cold.( It was March) The breakfast was all you could wish for and the communal table was an opportunity to meet and talk to people from all over the world. Highly recommended.

Very well located. Staff so helpful with information on parking, recommendations for restaurants, sites to see. Breakfast wonderful. Coffee, tea , water and cookies always available.

Beautiful B&B

Nice quiet place in the center of Ortigia. Only thing is the sign for the location is not super noticeable at first. Small sign on the wall. Had to look twice.

Central location in Ortigia near numerous shops and restaurants. The room was beautiful and surprisingly quiet given it’s central location but there was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom throughout our stay. The building was going through a large renovation so this might have contributed to this issue. We opened our window and this helped. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with the option of fresh eggs made to order daily. The hotel does not have parking so you need to park in a public lot and walk a bit to the hotel.
