The staff was the highlight of our stay - incredibly helpful, friendly, and engaging. Every recommendation was spot on, no request too small or too big, and they did it all with a smile. Absolutely great people. The property was fairly convenient to the center of the action, maybe a 15-20 min walk from the main Plaza. Breakfast was always good and more than we could eat. The rooms are older, with dated furnishings and fixtures but well kept and immaculately clean. For our first trip to Marrakech this place was perfect, and I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't require "luxury" accommodations anytime you leave the house. The adventure of staying at a Riad inside the Medina is an integral part of the Marrakech experience, and we enjoyed our stay at Yakimour.

We had a wonderful stay - From the moment we arrived, Murad at reception made us feel incredibly welcome. He went above and beyond to help us settle in, recommending great places to visit, assisting us in finding a hammam, and suggesting excellent restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a great and fresh, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful—well-maintained, comfortable, and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Murad’s hospitality truly made our stay even more special. Highly recommended

Kind and helpful staff.

Riad is lovely inside and the staff are attentive and friendly. It is to the north of the medina, which is a reasonable walk to the sights, and is closer to neighbourhood shops that are used by local people. This means it is very loud at night - we stayed in the room at the top front of the Riad and visited over Ramadan (so late night activity is expected and reasonable) and although we are heavy sleepers, we barely slept the first night due to constant motorbike noises, children in the street outside, general shouting and talking and then the call to prayer beginning. You can use the air conditioning unit to cover some of the noise but unfortunately this rattles loudly which is also difficult to sleep with. We would really recommend that the Riad put some heavy curtains in the room, potentially some form of sound insulation against the wooden windows and a thicker rug as the noise echoes in the room. It was a shame it was noisy because the staff were so kind and friendly and did check to see if they could swap our room to help us sleep.

Pool was not open. We were informed that tap water not drinkable. Hotel initially provided 1 small water bottle per guest but we were told any additional bottles were the guest’s responsibility. We feel that the Riad should provide as much drinkable water as required for guests. Staff very accommodating and helpful (Thank you Bouba, Abraham & Mouran). Location of the Riad was within walking distance of most attractions.

The Riad is lovely, the staff is great We love the breakfast and is walking distance from a lot of historic site, like de Madrasa a few museum and Medina with a lot of restaurants

Rooms were clean and riad looks very nice with great breakfast. What made the place special though was the staff. Mourad and Ibrahim were always around with tips and recommendations in and around marrakesh as well as sharing some cultural insights into Morocco. Always friendly and always eager to help

Beautiful riad, clean rooms, but could do with some additional decor to add atmosphere. Unfortunately, our room faced the street and was very noisy.

I had a wonderful stay at this riad in Marrakech. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Their kindness and hospitality made the experience feel very personal and authentic. Special shoutout to Ibrahim, Mourad and Bouba. The riad itself was peaceful, good location , a perfect escape from the busy streets of the Medina. Breakfast was delicious. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Beautiful boutique riad that is well ran, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and gave a lot of tips in how to navigate marrakesh as female travelers. The coffee and breakfast was delicious! The pool is stunning as well as the patio. The rooms were very clean and immaculately decorated. We would definitely come back again! The water pressure can be so so at times but overall I had an amazing stay!

We just completed our stay at the Riad Yakimour in Marrakech. A wonderful and very comfortable place to stay in the Medina. Just a 15-30 minute walk from the main attractions of the city and it gives you an authentic insight into life in the Medina. The staff are wonderfully friendly and take every opportunity to make your stay in the Riad enjoyable. They will recommend and book excellent restaurants and excursions for you. They will organize taxis to and from your restaurant. We are very grateful to Ibrahim, Bouba and Morad for their friendly service and making our stay a memorable one.
