Room, small, 2 twins beds stuck against walls, very dated, no restaurant even though it says it has, very dull and not inviting

The good points are that the room was clean and hotel central. The bad points are that the hotel is very run down and nothing like the website photos. The furniture is old and cheap. The mattresses so soft they offer no support. The facilities are minimal. Staff sullen and grudging. Avoid as much better hotels & inns available.

Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals. We were slightly worried when we arrived as there was limited parking spaces for the hotel itself however immediately next door was a huge public carpark which was free after 6pm and only cost £1 until 10am. Really enjoyed the Karaoke on our first night, and Played some pool on Saturday. Overall would defiantly stay again.

Awesome hotel, pub and beer garden.

Great hotel, lovely rooms and very personable service

Every thing was good but the bed wasn't great.

The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, I think they had just be refurbished. There was a little noise from the pub beer garden but it wasn't bad and didn't last too late, we tend to go to bed early and didn't keep us awake. There was an Infra Red Sauna in our room, never seen that before in a hotel room which was great, clean and free to use. Outside there is a small free parking area belomnging to the hotel. There is a larger council car park immediately next to it which only costs £3 per day, free after 6 and Sundays so well done to the council for not screwing the motorist! We can highly recommend this hotel for it's convenience being right in the centre of Ellesmere. We didn't go into the bar so can't comment on that.

Sadly there are breakfast facilities on site and one of nights include when the cafe opposite was closed. Hotel Parking is limited but public parking is immediately available. Room was clean, comfortable and warm.

Great location. Friendly staff. Room spacious, clean and very comfy. Lovely en-suite. A no fuss relaxing accommodation.

Booked last minute when going to see the Kings of Leon in Wrexham. Got the family room as the only one that was left . It was really comfortable with a good shower and really clean (looked as if it had recently been re decorated) Really friendly and helpful staff. Ellesmere is a nice little town

The jit bar was nice and lively with sport on several TVs. Staff were lovely.

We were at a nearby wedding and just needed a room for the night. This was amazing value for money. Very comfortable, and with fabulous service. There is a lovely pub within the hotel, but we didn't hear a thing from our room.

Not happy. Room in second floor. No lift!! I am disabled and the stairs are like a maze!! Shower is fixed to the wall therefore unable to use properly or comfortably!! Chair flimsy not comfortable. Noisy atmosphere as next to main road and not good isolation. Too much expensive for such condition!! I will never come back

Convenient place to stay in Ellesmere with parking onsite and adjacent in public car park. It is not the Hilton but bed was comfy and i slept well. Would use the hotel again if in the are

The cleanliness was the best, the room was spotless. Staff were welcoming, music loud in the bar, but the noise did not reach my room.
