Quaint little cabin, with everything you need to brave the high winds of the west fjords. One recommendation, provide a mini bar with a red and white wine and mini liquors. After the treacherous drive through the icy mountains, we could’ve really used a drink to calm the nerves. Beautiful property Would stay again!

We highly enjoyed our stay. It is a small cabin and was tight for 4 adults, but we made it work with leaving a bit of our luggage in the car. Clean, small basic kitchen and BBQ that worked for us. Be aware you are very far out there. There is one restaurant but it was not open when we were there (opens June) and one very small convenience store (with a cut local coffee shop)--but I am not sure the hours are set. Best to make sure you bring your food and be prepared. There are a couple of nice hikes and the pools are amazing. It is quiet, no, or little human sounds. Road is unpaved and narrow in places with a drop off the side, that didn't bother us, but could disturb some.

Simple and quick check-in. Lovely room, looks newely renovated. Great view right outside the window! The hot spring pool nearby was amazing and super peaceful. Shared kitchen had everything you would need.

We order cottage for 3 adults, it was very small, however it was in a good condition.

An out of the way place near the “pool at the end of the world”. Very clean…quiet…and the road getting there was a beautiful drive!

Nice cabin in cool location. Great hit spring just 5 minutes away. Road from Holmavik gets super bumpy. Best for the adventures.

I payed for a stand alone cottage, but was bait & switched a hostel room.

One of the most breathtaking spots I have ever travelled to. If you like a remote spot this is the place to stay. There is a hot pool 10 mins down the road around the bend of the peninsula. Sky was clear and we were able to catch the aurora as well. Very clean and warm. Easy to find as well :)

Cosy little cottage with 360 undisturbed magnificent views. If you seek tranquility & looking to recharge, this is the place for you. Great host too, check in with no issues at all.

Great, remote location. However, we couldn’t access the internet, as no login information was provided. Although right by the water the rooms on ground floor don’t have views.

A unique place and wonderful spot to stay

Très belle chambre et salle de bain, avec une vue sur les collines. Il y a un frigo et un sèche-cheveux. Un lave-linge est à disposition pour 700 ISK, mais il n’y a pas de sèche-linge. Nous recommandons cet hébergement au bout du monde même s’il n’y a pas de service de petit-déjeuner et que le chauffage n’est pas très performant. Il y a un très bon restaurant à proximité.

Das Guesthouse erreicht man nach ca. 90km Schotterpiste durch eine grandiose Landschaft. Es liegt mit Blick auf die Bucht und total ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und kompetent. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Schwimmbad mit kleinem, warmen Becken und 2 HotTubs.

Det var det bedste valg jeg kunne lave...et fremragende sted, hvor sjælen fandt ro, øjnene den smukke natur og ørerne blev fyldt med glad fuglelyd. Jeg vil komme tilbage næste år med familien!

A magical place, we would have loved to stay longer. Very clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped accommodation in the most beautiful place we have come across in Iceland. Also all people from the local community have been very kind and friendly to us. Hope to come back, sooner or later
