We had a family celebration here. The service was incredibly friendly, always quick and efficient. Lunch was okay, though some of it was cold, which might have been because we specifically requested table service. A buffet would have been much better for serving around 30 people. The location was lovely, and between meals, we could have taken wonderful walks along the Helme River, let the children play outside, or watch the animals.

The Patzschke family runs their guesthouse with a great deal of heart and humor. We stayed comfortably, ate excellent food, and felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. Thank you for your great hospitality! We would love to come back.
