I loved my stay! Clean room, fresh-smelling linens, exceptional hosts, welcoming atmosphere. Delicious breakfast. I will always return.

Very convenient and clean (although slight damp smell throughout) and staff were lovely! This is a pretty basic hotel though - room large with comfy bed but warm - and if you don't have a room in the hotel itself you are nowhere near the sea - wasn't a problem for us. It's a very busy locals pub though which we were good with but not a tranquil seaside stay. And parking is tricky as need to top up at the off-site carpark at 8am each day. Good breakfast tho!

We been going to the hope hotel for years, always loved it, the boss an staff always friendly, good service, breakfast included is just enough. Your right on sea front, love the pub to it, my hubby an I have always enjoyed.

.There was big fat flies coming out of the bathroom air vent. .The entrance smells smoky. .It was the heat wave and asked the staff for a fan and he said he will bring it but never did. .I did not get a beach view i was taken to a hostel around the corner about 3 mins away from the beach. .Did not use the bar.

I have stayed in youth hostels I would rate higher than the Hope Hotel. Shower didn't work, lamp didnt work, toilets didn't flush, music so loud from downstairs till 12.30am that couldn't hear TV and the shower door was rattling. Cabinet was broken and floor was dirty. Asked if could swap rooms and told what did I expect staying in a pub on a Saturday. There were rooms available and the woman was just rude. No sleep, no shower and just crap. The breakfast staff were nice and that the only positive. Wouldn't recommend at all and will share with everyone at our new travel Uk business to avoid at all costs.

We was in the house round the corner the room was very big and clean, and it'll was not far fro the beach and staff was very friendly and helpful,

Excellent visit. The accommodation is very central and there were no issues. Good size bed and en suite. Excellent breakfast.

Not actually a beach view at all in separate houses from the hotel a few blocks away. Room was okay. Would have been good to have a mini fridge

The room we had on suite was in a house a short walk from the sea front. This made it quite from the noise of the traffic. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

To be honest, i checked in with my friend but did not stay as we left town for our journey up north of the country

We stayed in the guest house away from the hotel, which was spacious clean and comfortable bed, staff were all very friendly, lovely night away
