Lovely comfy bed, excellent breakfast and convenient location to walk into town or the promenade. Service was great and very friendly. Lots of nice touches like complimentary drinks and fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room.

You would be struggling to fault this establishment. Staff are helpful and friendly,the room has a real attention to detail. The only way to fault it is the odd thing shows a bit of wear and tear which is only to be expected in such nicely finished stay. ( Such as the shade on a bed side lamp where it has started to split but in such well looked after place would be replaced shortly) A must stay ,you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel, very easy check in and check out. Room lovely, tea, coffee facilities and fridge. Spotless bathroom. Cannot fault a thing. Will definitely stay again.

Perfectly placed in town with allocated parking. Friendly greeting on arrival and no surprises when entering the room. Unfortunately the room opposite was being used by restaurant guests as a toilet and attracted a couple of groups that were a bit loud but it did not overly affect the view of the stay. TV was in an awful position as it was impacted by the post of the bed and the light in the fridge was a bit annoying during the night as I’m a lite sleeper. Nice and clean, water and soft drinks in the fridge and good selection of beverages and biscuits. Couldn’t access Netflix or Prime on the Tv as the connectivity wasn’t there so had to resort to my fire stick. Fair price for the room, didn’t take the breakfast so can’t comment but if I was in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to use the Limes again

I have stayed at the Limes before. It is a nice hotel and If I was in its location again it would be my first choice for accommodation. The receptionist was very helpful and made us feel welcomed.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable stay. Clean room. Close to town centre and short walk to meet up with friends. No issues getting back in at 2am. 2nd time staying there and would stay again.

Arrived late. Access was easy as prearranged with staff. Overall our room was very good with some lovely touches, however, the bed mattress could have been more comfortable.

Stay is lovely has every. Need more plugs in room or USB ports. Also the emergency light is big and green, when it's dark that's all you see (room 9)

Very comfortable accommodation in a great location for exploring Maldon.

The location of the hotel was favorable, and the staff was prompt in addressing any concerns that arose within the room. The complimentary beverages were a thoughtful touch. While the room possessed a charming aesthetic, several practical aspects fell short of expectations. The four-poster bed, although visually appealing, emitted a noticeable creaking sound. Additionally, the refrigerator generated a persistent humming noise throughout the night, which, coupled with the transparent door that emitted light, disrupted sleep for those sensitive to noise and light. The absence of a full-length mirror in the room proved inconvenient whilst getting ready, despite the availability of wall space for either a mounted or freestanding mirror. Furthermore, the wardrobe lacked any hanging space due to the presence of shelves within. The room temperature was excessively warm during my stay in November, potentially attributed to the large hot water tanks stored in the room's cupboard.

A quality property and restaurant right in the middle of Maldon.

We stayed in the room with the four poster bed and it was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the complimentary disaronno and mini bar. Car park is very tight but it’s good to have it there.
