The hotel setting is beyond beautiful, surrounded by tropical forest and beautifully maintained garden. The staff and service were top-notch, professional without being intrusive, friendly, and helpful. The room is small, and it is showing its age in places. There are many stairs, and hardly or I didn't see any ramps. My brother-in-law found it challenging to navigate those stairs and steps. The food from the Plantation Restaurant was very disappointing. As someone who is familiar with Indonesian cuisines, I find the food served tastes bland and did not portray Indonesian flavor at their best. My guess is the chef has tailored the Indonesian cuisine flavor to the foreigners' palettes, rather unfortunate. The fried noodle is good.

One of the best resorts I've ever stayed in Ubud. We stayed in the room with the deck, overlooking the jungle. The landscape was immaculate. Staff was helpful and so friendly. Got the chance to experience rain, which we totally loved! Definitely will go back there again.

Free afternoon tea and photoshoot. It's not comfortable because you get a room downstairs. If I take a shower, I think you can look down at the top.

Was afraid that the hotel will look old / abandoned after pandemic, but somehow, everything looks perfect & well maintained. The staff were helpful, all activities are well managed. Cakes at tea time are all wonderful and showcasing the culture of Indonesia. Will definitely come back!

The room was small, when I just entered the room, suddenly the air conditioner emitted smoke, so I was moved to a bigger room with a bathtub, but the bathtub leaked as well as the sink, so the towels under the sink were all wet, the surroundings of the hotel were also dark especially when night.

For the outdoor location, it is not too wide for Alila class, so if you staycation it is rather boring, 2malem there sleeps itching body, because it is near the forest maybe.

I went alone to have a solitude time with myself and All I can say is one night is def not enough! I’m coming back soon for sure. I have never felt so relaxed. It’s so quiet and serene you can ever hear your thoughts! I was so one with the nature. Everything is clicking, everything just felt so right! I had an outdoor bathtub and it was so LUX. My skin was blessed by the sun as it was kissing my face. The pool though. 🔥💯BOMB. The food. BOMB💯✨. Even tried the spa and it was so amazing I can hear my body was thanking me for takin it. D*mn. You fill feel so d*mn extra and fine as hell.
