Good property

Hotel sencillo y cómodo, en buena ubicación en El Centro de Oporto, con personal atento y muy agradable.

The hotel is kind of old, needs some updating. Elevator is way too small, as it is the shower. Beds are okay.

Please have packed breakfast option. Thanks

Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel conditions are poor; room was smelly, bathroom shower walls were stained. Breakfast is served in a very small space, very crowded. We had to take the breakfast to our room.

Very expensive nightly rate for a basic room, not even a chair to sit on, just a bed.

El hotel está en una excelente ubicación La gente muy amigable. El desayuno razonable. Muy importante que tiene cochera cubierta y cerrada en el hotel. ( si llegas a Porto en auto es una gran comodidad, lo dejas cuando llegas y lo sacas cuando te vas de Porto ) Deberían mejorar la señal de Internet en el piso 4 que llega muy débil.

The location is great and the hotel has parking. The rooms are spacious. However the amenities are very dated.

Overall, our stay at the Sao Gabriel Hotel was disappointing. The hotel was being decorated and we left our room the first morning to be met by a building site. For a 4 night stay, we ended up having 3 different rooms (all below standard). There were some good points:- Breakfast was adequate, location was good and staff were friendly. I would not stay here again and am currently in contact with the online booking company regarding the standards that guests should expect from a hotel rated on their website.

Two blocks to a giant square, excellent food and drink all around, outdoor patio is lovely.

AC did not work beds very hard

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental, no Eggs. Parking for my rental car was next door, easy to roll luggage in. Our room was very small (2 star hotel), but comfortable. Though the air conditioner broke on Saturday and they couldn’t get a technician to fix it on the weekend. Luckily, the window opened and there were no bugs, so we slept well. The neighborhood is run down, but only 2 streets from the Mercado and walking street (Catarina), and Metro stop.

Getting to parking was congested

Considering it was a 2 star hotel, the amenities such as parking and free breakfast were good

Smell really bed
