The hotel is old, but well managed and maintained. It is well located in the heart of Georgetown. The food is well cooked and served. the bedroom is clean.

All staff are very friendly. The hotel location is near the market and some famous kedai like Penang Road Laksa, Cheng Woh Medical Hall, and Kimberly Street. Across the hotel is Lao Liu suan cai yu restaurant. Nice hotel to stay.

Great, strategic location and clean rooms

Nice hotel, comfort and spacious room, stunning view. Thanks to the front desk staff that we got a sea view room. All the staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. Keep up the good work, guys. The hotel is just a short distance to Penang culinary, tourist attractions, etc. Love it.

All the staff at Cititel Penang were very helpful and friendly. My child who uses a wheelchair and I felt very helped and given convenience. I was given 1 plastic chair to use in the toilet to make it easier for my child to take a bath. The room service menu was delicious. Didn't try the breakfast menu because access to the restaurant was not wheelchair friendly. 1 strange thing was that the breakfast ration was only for 1 person even though there were 2 people staying. The water dispenser was very helpful. The corridor to the room always smelled of cigarettes even though no one was smoking. Another good thing was that the receptionists called the room every day to ensure the comfort of their guests.
