Breakfast and Fitness facility was not included in the price, not even coffee. Hot Tub was not heated. Staff was very friendly!

Clean rooms, good location, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Receptionists were superb. So friendly & very helpful. Couple of the bar staff were also very nice. Beautiful gardens & pool area.

Grand hotel experience

Lovely reception staff, central location and excellent facilities

Exceeded my expectations in every way. Perfect place to explore the lakes. Pool has an amazing view. Staff are helpful. Only small point is the rooms are very light as there are no blackout curtains or blinds (not sure if this is all rooms) so if you are a light sleeper it might be an issue.

The hotel is superb. The location is good, you can walk to Baveno and Stresa. The whole hotel just feels very classy, the staff are extremely attentive and it's exceptionally well priced. We cant work out why it's not a 5 star hotel. We will certainly be coming back.

Good location for boat to islands. Lovely pool. Spacious room. Could do with tea and coffee facilities but that might be an English thing! Helpful and friendly staff.

It’s a big old grand hotel which has been well maintained. It is huge and links up to the neighbouring Hotel Dino via a 400m underground walkway. This is where you need to go if you want to use the gym, which is also huge and very well equipped, probably the largest hotel gym I’ve seen. Unfortunately you need to pay €12 a day to access it which is annoying when it says the hotel has a gym. Also, as is sadly becoming more common, breakfast is extra at a pricey €25 pp. Also parking is extra at €20 per day! (It should state this on the property details page when booking) So when you book a night as a couple at €200 thinking it’s a good deal for hotel, parking and gym it is actually going to cost you €282. For that reason I wouldn’t stay again (we didn’t pay for breakfast and just got yoghurt form the supermarket opposite).

Very grand property and has access to sister hotel Dino, to allow use of swimming pools, kids games area, gym, both bars & live music. Add ons were a bit expensive but nonetheless we had a great stay. Sparse on power outlets in our room was the only drawback

Beautiful facility and landscaping exquisite with a view of the lake. Not on the lake, but very close. Our room was very humid, no A/C. Very disappointed that parking, breakfast and exercise room all cost an extra fee.
