Rooms were lovely, as expected. Great sleep due go the lovely mattress and bedding. Check in was easy, but they couldn't get me in until 4, so I had to kill time at a restaurant at the mall around the corner. Mall seemed upscale. As for service, I was there during a large conference so, when my colleagues sat at a table near the bar for a quick drink, we had to sit at a table that hadn't been cleaned and no one came to take our order or clean the table. We left after about 20 minutes. It was busy in there, so I will give a little latitude to the staff, but it was somewhat disappointing. I am not familiar with the area, but seemed nice. Not much was too walkable except the mall.

I can't say enough to express how happy we were with our stay. The Gold team were next level amazing!! Alice set up some lovely surprises for my kiddo's birthday and Bella & Jatin were so welcoming and gracious during our stay. The room was well appointed with a very comfy bed and robes and the old lounge was a lovely place to drink, snack and relax. The Century mall is next door and was a great place to eat, shop & explore. I'm bummed we didn't get to thank Alice in person but everyone we encountered was terrific! Shout out to the lovely young lady in the spa (Katie, maybe. I'm so sorry I forgot your name) who gave us a tour of the facilities and lovely parting gift for my daughter. She still talks about it and loves her little scented sachet. HIGHLY recommend the hotel and especially the Gold experience!

I stayed 3 nights for a work conference and was so impressed! Not only was the hotel beautiful and modern, with fabulous finishes...but it was absolutely spotless. Every staff member I encountered, from the bell crew to the front desk and housekeeping was extremely helpful and kind. You can tell the hotel treats the team well, everyone was happy to be there! 10/10, I cannot wait to come back next year. ALSO- the events team was top-tier as well. My company hosted a large, 2 day event and everything went off without a hitch!

The building itself is obviously very nice, but our room had stained carpet & curtains, tape on top of the smoke detector, and the pool sun shades were covered in mold (see photos). The staff provided nice service, but management is clearly not paying attention to the smaller details that really signify luxury. Thus, the value proposition is completely out of balance.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were going to fall in love with this hotel. Its cool, laid back, open lobby in the middle of a beautiful part of LA was so welcoming. Once we got to checkin we were met by Matthew and he was one of the nicest, most welcoming individuals I have come across. He heard that we were celebrating a 2 year anniversary and he took incredible care of us from then on. We come to LA often and have searched for a place that we want to continue to visit when we are in town and I think we found it at the Fairmont. Thank you for the wonderful weekend! -Michael Burke
