The check-in time was so long, I only got a room at 5 pm even though I was already in the hotel lobby at 11 am. Luckily I booked 4 rooms on the 16th floor so there was 1 ready, we could wait until the afternoon, cramped in that room waiting for the other room to be ready. When checking out, we asked for time compensation, only given an extra 30 minutes, very unfair. At the swimming pool, they didn't give us towels, they said they had to take towels from the room, towels from the room were only given at 5:30 pm, even after going back and forth to the hotel lobby receptionist asking the staff, the sink in room 1601 was clogged, for gym facilities, I had booked to the lobby 1 hour before when it was my turn to go to the gym, but the gym staff refused, saying there was no booking from the hotel, I went back to the receptionist and said it was already booked, the communication was unclear, it was really strange, it made my mood to go to the gym disappear. This is actually my 4th staycation here, but my last experience was pretty much a dud. The main problem has always been the incredibly long check-in process and the elevator queue that takes at least 15-20 minutes. Then I got a unit with a clogged and leaking sink, the water pooled like a river. I had to remind the maintenance department 10 times to call (which was also very difficult because they didn't pick up the phone), and then I had to wait another 2 hours before they came to the unit. So I had no choice but to sprinkle tissues in the pooling water until the maintenance guys came. The bathroom doors also couldn't be locked, and at the end, before check out, they couldn't be opened at all. Luckily, no one was inside. The rest was fine as usual.

Overall, our stay at Aryaduta Suites Semanggi was very uncomfortable and far from our expectations. Our luggage also had to wait for a long time at the Concierge due to a shortage of Concierge staff at the time. For your information, for about 10 years ago and the next 5 years, we always spent New Year's with our family at Aryaduta Suites Semanggi. However, in recent years, we have chosen other hotels. This year, we decided to reminisce and return to Aryaduta Suites Semanggi. Unfortunately, we no longer found the comfort and quality of service we once enjoyed. As a hotel with the "Suites" brand and a 4-star rating, we didn't experience superior service. Our disappointment increased the next morning when my sister reported to the concierge that her motorcycle hadn't been registered at check-in.
