awesome stay in San Jose! The aparthotel was spacious with an awesome deck! Good wi-fi, washing machine, and kitchen equipment. It's about a 15 min walk from town. I did have a cold shower one day and the receptionist didn't follow-up.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vistamar. The apartment was located about 15 min walk into town but about 2 mins from a beach. The apartment was well equipped and was very spacious for 2 people. The air con worked very well and we were able to sleep comfortably.

The facilities are good. The apartment without sea view is comfortable and clean. The beds are good but the pillows are not. Unfortunately the cafe is closed during the week and the nearest one is a 15 minute walk away. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The property was having building work carried out while we were staying as it was low season . We were offered an upgrad to a sea view room which was a beautiful view but we still had to pay the upgrade charge . You would have thought this would have been complimentary due to the room being free anyway and to compensate for the building work .

this type of apartment is a perfect alternative for Hotel bookings. Just WIFI connection was a bit poor but at the end this is minor detail.

spacious apartment While not everything is perfect...it is excellent at the price point. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable, everything we needed was here. Enjoyed the balcony at the back of the hotel, peacefully looking towards the sea. Between my basic Spanish and their basic English, communication with the hotel staff was fine. Daily housekeeping if you want it. There is a cafe and small shop on site. No problems parking on the street. San Jose itself is a lovely pueblo with great beaches, interesting shops and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. We also walked from the hotel around the cliff path to Playa de los Genoveses - where it feels like the world is a million miles away (you can also drive there for 5 euro parking fee). Read more

The view was incredible! I could stop looking out the window and sitting in the porch. There was someone at the reception to provide keys and instructions on parking. There was a washing machine in the apartment, but didn’t have detergent. I should have probably brought some with me, but wish they had some to buy at the desk or in the vending machine. Otherwise, awesome. The town is just a little walk down the hill and close to hiking trails.

Lovely lady on check-in (which was quick and easy), fantastic apartment with everything we could need; it was a little tired in places but that was reflected in the price, so that's not a complaint. Nice free jacuzzi option with timed slots that you choose. Easy parking in the street. Very happy and would definitely return.

We had a sea view room on 2nd floor overlooking san Jose,clean basic and functional,2 single beds were ok,kitchen was basic with wash machine and large fridge freezer,and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay,Balcony outside space was large with 6 seater white plastic table and 3 chairs and clothes horse,all overlooking a pool on the lower floor,which was clean and cool with a small cafe and shop on the side.A/c in apartment worked well,but only used at night to cool bedroom down a little.The whole place was not busy,but noticed banging doors,toilets flushing and general noise in the mornings,due we thinking to the nature of the building,tiled floors,thin walls,nothing to soak up any noise,but all in all a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful place if you get a seaview. Lovely property with old Spanish feel. Staff wasn't very helpful or friendly, could be the language barrier. We paid $30e a for parking to find a lot of free parking surrounding the area after the fact. Good walking to bars, restaurant (Casa Pepe 5*) & beach. Overall good stay.

Our apartment was so well equipped we felt we could live here forever. Friendly staff, though hardly any English spoken. The closest beach is a couple of minutes walk. The road behind the hotel leads to a dirt track to the most gorgeous wild beaches. Hire car really useful- expect to get it very dirty! About 20 minutes walk into town, though there are a couple of closer restaurants. Loved it here.

Lite långsamt internet. Bra lägenheter men ät inte på restaurang Casa Pepe i närheten. Mycket dyr mat som ser vackert ut men är nästan oätligt…måste vara en av Spaniens sämsta restauranger! Ha med den mat och dryck du behöver för affären på hotellet har knappt nåt att köpa. Härlig liten strand men alldeles för öde ort för vår smak
