Clean and comfortable. Nice friendly relaxed atmosphere in the hostel. Location is great for exploring Amsterdam with good access to transport, museums, eating places and Vondelpark next door. Private room was great for our family.

This was the first hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I ended up having a room to myself so it was nice to ease into the experience. Having a bathroom in the room was great and the shower not being one of those times things was perfect. The only thing I’d not like had I been sharing the room is the bunks don’t have curtains for privacy. There was a fan in the room which was great for warmer days. The only complaint I had for my stay was the elevator not working. I was on the third floor and after a long day of walking, it was torture. lol As for the location, when you’re not overly familiar with the area and just follow directions, you end up having to drag luggage through Vondelpark and hunt through the garden to find the place. I’d suggest having instructions on the site to access the hostel through the side street. Overall the stay was great. The staff were nice and the food/coffee was good. I’d stay again!

Paid for a three person private room, but they were overbooked so they gave us a six person room and assured us that no one else would be assigned the room which was kind of nice since the beds didn’t have curtains on them like other hostels we have stayed in.

Me and my large group had a fantastic experience at this hostel. Top notch quality of service, accessibility, location, and cleanliness. Would definitely come back in the future.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The communal space was very nice. The location was very convenient and lively. Vondelpark is beautiful. We’d stay here again.

Stayed in a double room for two nights as part of a bigger Europe backpacking trip, and it had everything we needed. Room and bathroom were spacious. Everything was clean. Somewhat of a view of Vondelpark. It’s not particularly near a bus stop but Amsterdam is walkable anyway. You do have to go down this weird and long alley to get to the entrance or go through Vondelpark. There isn’t AC but we learned that that’s normal for Europe. Didn’t get to try the breakfast or bar on the lobby floor. Overall, it was great.

Friendly, clean and fun property that located in a nice area, walking distance to central and museum quarters. Restaurants, groceries and high-end shopping are all nearby. Will definitely stay here again in the future

location was excellent and connected to everything via public transit just a short walk away. Hotel was clean and fun with great hosts, coffee shop/bar, and lots of area to lounge and gather. Our bunks were very comfortable (compared to other hostels in Europe) and the area was quiet at night. We will def choose this location on our next trip.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was impeccably clean, the staff we worked with went above and beyond to try to provide an early check in as our children were quite jet lagged. Location was perfect for visiting the museums - also just around the corner are fancy designer stores (which is an indication of a good location to me!). Could not be more satisfied - would recommend and happily return.
