Great experience

A+ staff, very friendly. Love the private onsen in our room. Only thing missing is microwave and laundry machine. But it’s not a big deal. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Hakone.

This property was so thoughtful designed. The onsens were a wonderful experience and free beverages and after onsens treats were so thoughtful. Also, the kaiseki dinner was delicious and beautiful. I loved being able to walk around the hotel in the pajamas that were provided.

The selection of onsens was fantastic and we found they were not busy and always available to use. The complementary shuttle bus to the train station was also much appreciated.

Our stay was a lovely tranquil break after Tokyo and the authentic dinner and breakfast were delicious. The private onsens were perfect and we had a bath on our balcony which was gorgeous. Would highly recommend

Recommended! It is a relaxing and peaceful place to stay. We upgraded our room and definitely worthy because we enjoyed our private onsen with beautiful scenery. The onsen is the best we ever had in Japan.

Do not have high expectations. It is a remote location. It is a HOTEL, 100%. It has a shuttle to and from the train station. It was not avail when we arrived, and was able to catch an uber. The Onsen is only a series of hot tubs. There is no natural spring associated. We incurred about $200 in extra cost for taxes and fees. Also, because they are remote we had to eat at the hotel. If you do not like 100% Japanese food; I recommend make other arrangements. All meals are 100% Japanese and no substitutes. The room was clean, and a few of the attendants were actually helpful. However, no one went out of their way to answer questions or give direction. There were other (a group of 4) westerners present, and they voiced similar frustrations. The most helpful were the elderly. Oddly, the younger crowd seemed to detest our presence. We did go to the Rope Way. It was very foggy and didn’t see Mr. Fuji. The trip takes about an hour and a half to get to the top, from the hotel. We were able to schedule the shuttle for our return trip back to Yokohama.

I would recommend staying here. I had the Japanese style dinner and breakfast. Limited English translation but the efforts were commendable. I enjoyed the Onsen’s and it was a very relaxing vibe.

This hotel was lovely! I loved the private baths and the pajamas that were provided. This was a great place to end our Japan trip!

Our stay was incredible. Felt like another world! We never left the facility as we took full advantage of the hot springs and hot tub in the hotel and our room. The staff was amazing and helpful. The treats and refreshments very welcome and the shuttle to the bus stop so helpful!

We stayed here with our four-year-old and had a wonderful time. They provided child robes and meals and everyone was so kind. Free coffee and tea downstairs and amazing baths in the rooms! Would definitely return.

Free Ramen at night was really neat, and the supper and breakfast was incredible

직원분들이 너무 친절하고, 연식에 비해 물 관리도 잘 되어있는 느낌이었습니다. 다만 구관의 객실 위생이 좋은 편은 아니었습니다. 리모컨에서는 먼지가 오래되어 뭉친 채로 굳은 상태였고, 머리 맡 창틀에는 먼지가 수북했습니다. 객실의 위생 수준이 낮은 편이지만, 온천의 물은 잘 관리되어 있다는 점이 장점입니다.
