Staying here due to the show of UKAI fishing (cormorant fishing on the Nagara River) Room not enough electric plugs

The hotel is very granular, however sadly it is also very old. The staff tried very hard to help but English is not common in the area, so lots was lost in translation. The onsite restaurants we booked out in advance so we had dinner at the ‘bar’ however this did not spoil the food, it was exceptional. The staff even though didn’t speak any English were very pleasant and tried to help in every way.

There was an exceptional housekeeper (Ms. Yamashita) making the room with a personalized touch; one yukata set on the bed I slept and new glasses on coasters where I used on the desk instead of putting all original places. This touch would make visitors special (probably old-school) but it won't be noticed unless you stay a couple of nights there.

The onsen was a real treat, and the staff were quite helpful to a non-Japanese speaker.

Great location near the river with a good onsen. It’s a bit far from the station but the shuttle service was excellent.

車椅子使用の高齢の母を連れての旅行でした。 夕食は日本料理をオプションで。車椅子のまま座らせていただき、お食事も鮎の塩焼きなど、岐阜ならではのお料理がとても美味しく、お料理の提供のタイミングもスムーズでした。 お部屋も高級感があり、トイレもバスルームへの入り口も段差がなく完全バリアフリー。ベッドも広く快適でした。 また是非伺いたいです。

飲食街がある川原町まで徒歩30分で行けます。

夕食、朝食ともに食事がとても良かったです。ゆっくりと した時間が過ごせました！ ただ、駐車場の地上と地下の違いが分からず、地上で外を歩いて移動してしまいました・・

長良川温泉が、良かった!

現地では大きく立派なホテルだと思いますが、温泉がある事で部屋内のユニットバスに清掃等目が行き届いておらず ユニットバスを使ったところ、排水溝のつまりでユニットバス内床に排水があふれ、自ら排水溝を掃除しましたがそれでも解消されなかったのでフロントに連絡して急遽清掃してもらいました。しかしながら、何年も掃除していない位ゴミが詰まっており、清掃後も滞在中はユニットバス内の洗面や浴槽からの水の流れが悪かったです。その後チェックアウト時にもその件に対するコメントは無く、チェックイン時に支払った入湯税を再度請求されるなど、ちょっと困った対応でした。

部屋の風呂からは岐阜城が直接見えてとても良かったです。

静かで明媚な風光に感動しました。食事も美味しく満足できました。ありがとうございました。
