Hotel Hornsgatan is a wonderful little hotel in Stockholm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but enough. The location is great. Only 5-10 mins on foot to Gamla Stan and about 2 mins to the nearest metro station. I stayed in room 21 which is in an Annex building. There's 5 rooms in this part of the hotel with a shared kitchen. The only downside to the hotel is the soundproofing - it's an old building so this is non-existent. I was woken up about 1am one night by a group of men staying in the other Annex rooms coming home. They sat in the shared kitchen for over an hour talking loudly and laughing. Being a solo female, I didn't feel comfortable leaving my room and telling them to quieten down but they eventually went to bed. Just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper! Other than that, it's a great place to stay and I would happily come back here!

Room 2 was wonderful. Very large with big windows and a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and the water always hot. The breakfast each morning was perfect for me, all my favorites. It was also very nice to have coffee, tea, dainties and fruits left out all day for snacking. I would stay there again.

Such a lively little boutique hotel. Beautiful room interior, I had a cozy nights sleep. I extended my stay actually. Breakfast was severed and that was an added bonus. You can’t get a better location! Bathrooms are shared, but they are spotless and there are so many of them. I never saw anyone else in one. I highly recommend.

Convenient location, staff was very nice. Small bathrooms, but functional and clean. The two room unit was perfect for the 4 of us.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Worked hard keeping the buffet well stocked and cleaning dishes. The annex was a nice quiet place for days to enjoy fika away from many people. Shower did not slide and the holder for the hand shower needs to be secured.

I booked the room thinking there was a separate kitchen though it was communal which was disappointing. Maybe better communication of that would be good.

The owner was so kind to us, helping give us recommendations for activities, and preparing the room for us. Breakfast was fresh and filling every morning, and the hotel was a great quiet space to get rest after a long day of traveling. Loved it here!

Liked the breakfast

I am glad that this was the hotel I chose when booking from my home country. It was an ideal stay for two nights and would work for a slightly longer stay. The room had a private bathroom which was important to me, and was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Excellent, thoughtful service all round. Good choices for the breakfast which is included in one's stay. And best of all was the easy access to transport to take one all over Stockholm.

Everything was great, the staff, the available breakfast food, and the price. The only thing was trying to get in, luckily a resident let me in, I only had a data plan so I couldn’t call to get in. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect for me

A warm, friendly old style apartment building with individual rooms and a wonderful breakfast. Everyone was extremely helpful.
