Very efficient check in and out. Excellent front desk staff. Big room. High ceilings. Beds were very comfortable! Only criticism was bathroom lighting poor for applying makeup.

The staff are faultless and very welcoming. The hotel has a cool vibe. Perfectly located. Absolutely loved our relaxed breakfast. Would make a diversion to stay there again!

After a few snafus with our check-in and parking (reserve ahead of time; it's very limited), we had an excellent stay with nice rooms looking over the Saone River and delicious breakfast (more expensive than some but worth it).

Charming hotel and very helpful staff.

On checking in we were disappointed firstly to be told free parking was half a mile away and secondly to be charged 16 euros for 1 overnight stay. Then went on to try and charge 34 euros for 2 continental breakfasts which we had to prove was included. Such a shame when the hotel behind the reception is fine.

A nice change from chain hotels which are all very similar. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room - and the bed was both superb and huge. No restaurant but very convenient for an eay five minute stroll into the town in the evening for dinner from a choice of quite a few very French brasseries and full blown restaurants. Parking directly outside the hotel was no problem - but maybe we just got lucky ! Wouldn't hesitate to go back next time we stay in Macon.

Good location interesting building

Room comfortable and clean. Wonderful shower! Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of food hot and cold. Elise who was in charge of breakfast greeted us every morning with a cheery smile asking us if there was anything else we would like. She made our stay special, making me a delicious milky espresso every morning and we looked forward to our breakfast feast with fresh fruit, home made yoghurt and compote, an array of breads and cheeses! This hotel is a short walk across the road of two lane traffic to the Saone. Come out of the hotel and turn right and just keep walking and there are some good places to eat supper. The hotel entrance with lounge area was comfortable and welcoming and reception was very friendly. Just a thought that an extra central light would have improved the lighting in bedroom as it was a bit on the dark side - otherwise this hotel was faultless with great surroundings and wonderful staff. I would definitely book in to this hotel again if the opportunity arose.
