The room was very nice, the staff were extremely pleasant at all hours of the day/night and the area is great. I would 100% stay again if I am in Dublin.

This was a great location after ending our 7 day tour. Easily walkable, a Michelin rated restaurant for dinner, excellent breakfast out (since we had a leisure morning and no rush to the airport). Staff were very helpful and the room itself was charming, comfortable. Had a triple room for girls trip and plenty spacious!

The hotel is very clean, updated and staff very curteous. The rooms are small but comfortable with exception of the bed, which was not comfortable. Overall I had a nice stay until the last night I was there. There were city crews working on the road about 500 ft from my hotel room all evening until 2300. It was loud and disturbing. I stayed at the Rockford Lodge in 2017 for 2 nites and there was some sort of construction around the hotel that was very loud. It could just be coincidental, but I won’t stay at this hotel in the future.

The word I want to use for the review is Strange. The place states it’s Victorian but I’d describe it as a prefabricated IKEA pod dropped down on the inside of what used to be a Victorian Brick house. The front yard is a meticulous English rock garden. Then the doorknob to the front door is 5’ aff. Off to the right in a tiny space is the reception that looks like lost little girls sitting at looking up. My person that night was a plug in viper Queen. Said the same speel like it was recorded. No smile. Walked me to room flipped all the lights and tv! Shocking in the 8x8 room with at least 100 plugs, switches, heat and cold controls lighted cabinets etc. I felt like I couldn’t breathe but then the double windows won’t open. The bathroom had vents all over which I later learned you couldn’t turn the thermostat up in the bathroom to have a dry sauna. I did feel like I was inside a microwave waiting to be turned on. Nothing Victorian and nothing like the photo when I made the arrangements. I’d give a thumbs down sorry. And for 82 euros breakfast was extra for 8.5. I skipped but asked if they had a take away cup, no she said.
