Stayed two nights at the Daugirdas Hotel and it was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size for a solo traveller. Traditional décor but everything felt well-kept and cosy. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Great location near the Old Town — easy to walk everywhere. Didn’t try the restaurant so can’t comment, but overall very good value for money. Would happily stay again for a short trip.

Helpful staff, big room and lovely breakfast

Check in was fine and staff were friendly. We had to change rooms after one night but this was sorted promptly and very efficiently done. The room (with balcony) which we had for a week was very clean however the team cleaning the room didn't make up our bed particularly well on a couple of occasions (1st world problem I know!). We ate in the restaurant on one occasion and the food was ok. Waiting staff weren't the friendliest but I guess they'd had a long day and wanted to get finished. Overall, a great location if you are visiting Kaunas old town. Would we stay there again, yes.

The property was very convenient for the river and the old town centre, with many of the attractions and bsrs and csfes within easy walking distance

Nice hotel with blend of old and new building. Good breakfast. Hotel parking not existing so need to park on the street, which can be expensive or not easy to find free of charge (late hours and nights) spot. However, hotel staff advice on this matter.

Excellent reception staff. Our room was spacious and quiet. There’s a nice park nearby with a beautiful playground for kids, and many restaurants nearby.

Hotel and room were good. Only there was no heating in the room. The reception told me that she will put it on from her end. But nothing really happened. But overall experience was good

Nice hotel reception/bar/lounge area. I stayed in the old part of the hotel. There was a lingering odour in my room so had to keep the window open. Comfy bed though. Good breakfast. Very walkable to the old town square, quaint side streets and the main shopping area

The hotel is in an excellent position for tourists as it is in the old city and just a short walk to tourist attractions and near plenty of restaurants and bars but far enough away to not be affected by noise etc . The electronic key for room I was given didn’t work so I was given another room. The new room was huge, so it was a big upgrade . I loved my stay there.

Nice , clean , comfortable hotel

It would be helpful to receive a communication from the hotel in advance of arrival recommending how to get to the hotel. I don’t speak Lithuanian and it was incredibly hard to find information when I arrived at the train station. Google maps didn’t show any routes. I ended up walking under I found a city bus. The driver found someone on board who confirmed that bus went to the Old Town. I had an idea where the hotel was so I followed the bus’ progress on Google Maps. When I was within a half mile or so, I left the bus and again used the Maps app to find an approximate way to the hotel’s location. What would have been helpful is to get an email recommending the download of the Bolt (ride sharing) app. I could have saved myself all of that trouble at a very affordable price.

Good location, nice hotel, fair buffet breakfast for €3.The only con was the single bed, very small for a body builder.I did not know it was a single bed, usually it`s a double.
