This is a beautiful hotel nestled in an enchanting wooded area. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was exceptional with abundant space, comfortable bed, great workspace, amenities and nice charm. The property is very conveniently located near the Putten village which is picturesque and interesting. There is a great deal to do within easy walking distance. There are many nice shops, bakeries, food options and restaurants. There is an Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Domino's very close, and a Plus, Lidl and Action a little further away but easily walkable. It was fun walking around and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the village. It was so nice, i stayed on two separate occasions during my sightseeing vacation. I can highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

Hotel was great, conveniently located and very nice landscaping. Parking was spacious. Room was fine, bathroom was clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. There were many ants that were in the room, primarily in the corner by the door. We were on the first floor.

Good value for money. Breakfast was good, room was spacious and clean. Walking distance of restaurants and bars. No issues at all and all for the cheapest price we could find in the area. No complaints at all.

It’s an ok place to stay. Friendly staff, (mostly) clean room, nice breakfast buffet and convenient location. But building and furniture are pretty worn and outdated. It really needs a renovation.

Its quiet and close to town

We hit a heat wave when we booked in and had an upstairs room without airco, so we found it extremely hot and uncomfortable. But this may have been an unusually hot period. Everything looked clean and was well taken care of.

Hof van Putten is a lovely place to stay, regardless of the reason you might come to Putten. One could list the features of the hotel, but all adverts do that... What I have found is that staying at Hof van Putten, as an overall experience, is a delight I have now experienced several times and would enthusiastically recommend to any traveller. The hotel is quite large, the rooms comfortable, the service unobtrusive but excellent, the wifi fast, there is easy parking on the hotel grounds, the tall trees around the property lend a pleasant ambience, and the breakfast has a wide-enough selection of foods to meet the needs of most travellers. I will be staying there again, and if you are in the area, I recommend it to you too.

Very pleasant

We loved our stay in the hotel where the staff were so helpful, as were all the Dutch folk we met during our weeks visit to Holland- Our room was large and clean,the beds extremely comfortable, the breakfast a typical continental breakfast served in nice dining room area. We really had no complaints to offer re both the hotel itself and the location which is a good base place-Our only gripe, if we were to have one, was that there was no English literature re "what to do" in the hotel- however the local tourist office( they are called VVV offices in Holland) had some and were helpful with their suggestions- also a good place to buy momentos-(cheaper than the hotel by the way!) Suggestion Avoid- Sand Museum nearby as it is pricey enough and there is no English explanations which we found very frustrating especially as there was obviously some traditional theme to some of the sculptures which meant nothing to us. A lovely town to visit close by is Deventer where we spent a very pleasant Sunday strolling down the streets and taking a boat cruise on the river. Parking prices in Holland are horrendous( ranged from 2.80- 3.60 an hour!) and travelling by car in rush hour is definitely best avoided as they drive quite erratically and bumper to bumper at times.
