Wonderful staff, clean rooms, great restaurant and breakfast, perfect location surrounded by amazing restaurants within 5 minute walk.

This was a great little boutique hotel. Our room came with a beautiful view of the port. The hotel does not have an elevator but desk staff carried our large suitcases up and down which was really appreciated. The restaurant in the hotel has an excellent terrace and we found the food to be good. We would stay here again.

This hotel is excellent. The location was very good. It was in a safe area and very quiet. The view from the room was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable and in a modern spacious room. The breakfast was excellent and the free drink each day was very nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I could not fault my stay here. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view of the port from our balcony. Big open glass doors to look out. On site restaurant was nice and breakfast included. The neighborhood is charming and very close walking distance to the funicular Concepcion.

Great location for exploring the town, excellent, helpful and friendly staff, breakfast was nice and the food is good at the restaurant if you wind up eating there.

This is a nice hotel in a good location which is important in this area because most of the Galleries, restaurants and things to do are within a few blocks and that area is fairly safe but outside that area it's sketchy and a little dangerous. Many good restaurants in the area but you can see this whole safe neighborhood in one or two days. The staff is helpful but there is no elevator so if you have bad knees or back you're going to need to get the staff to bring your suitcases up some pretty steep metal steps. There is a decent Cafe and bar at the restaurant with a great View of the port although it's an industrial View

What a beautiful place. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the views are just incredible. There's a fantastic restaurant downstairs with views of the coast and harbour. There's so much around the hotel to see within walking distance and the whole area is bursting with character. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Lovely staff. The hot water wasn’t working but they quickly offered a discount. Also helpful with local sights and security.

The Hotel Boutique 17 is a wonderful place. I cannot say enough good about it. The entire staff is great, from the front desk to the cleaning personel to the waiters at the restaurant. They are compitent and pleasant. The restaurant /bar has the best view in town and really good food. And the rooms are spacios, clean, and comfortable. I wish I had stayed there a month

Great value, great view. The ideal location on Cerro Concepcion. A beautiful view—from room 10–of the ever-changing port and looking across the entire width of the bay. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, with English. Excellent breakfast, and the onsite restaurant—sandwiches, mostly—was able to accommodate our late arrival on a Monday night. Nice contemporary design, well-appointed, with a vertiginous stairway that we got used to.

It’s a very cute and trendy hotel in a really good part of the city is close to many restaurants and amenities. Breakfast was included, which was nice, and it was good. Don’t be fooled by the cornflakes, they still come and take your order for a regular breakfast. Back terrace where breakfast is served has a lovely view of the harbor. My only small complaint is that the trendy open concept design of the staircase means that sound travels upward rather easily. I could hear kitchen staff preparing equipment or washing dishes or something fairly late at night.

Booked a room with an ocean view a week before arriving for two day visit - and it delivered with great views and perspective across the ocean and city - better than some in the city the guidebooks will say are 'spectacular'. Very clean, quiet away from the port bustle below and very comfortable with excellent shower facilities and complimentary coffees. Good service overall too. If you have mobility issues then stairs up and down would be only reason to not stay here.
