You will not find a more hospitable host than Jim. He clearly wants guests to feel welcome and is interested in helping them to find what they’re seeking— whether it be the best sites on the Ring of Kerry or the local laundromat! The room was clean, instructions for entry and breakfast choices were clear. We felt as if we were in capable, trustworthy hands here during a first visit to Killarney.

We loved our stay at Gormans B&B. Jim and his family were just lovely. We felt very much at home with their warm welcome plus how genuinely friendly and helpful they were. Our breakfasts were delicious. I can highly recommend the salmon and scrambled eggs. We just loved the whole experience.

Jim’s advice as to where to eat; what areas to explore, and the best drives in the region really added to our enjoyment. A nice variety of breakfast meals and his accommodation of my gluten allergy was much appreciated.

Jim gave us lots of information about what to see. He is very personable. Breakfast was very good. Loved the sausages and good hot tea. Beds were comfortable. Room was very clean. Towels were somewhat tired. TV is very small but we didn’t watch it so no problem.

Loved staying at Gormans! The owner was so helpful with advice on the happenings nearby and what road to take. Would highly recommend!

Jim and his family were incredibly lovely! During our visit to Killarney, my boyfriend and I stayed with them and received such warm welcomes. One morning, we had to leave very early for a hike, and although it was too early for breakfast, Jim thoughtfully left food out for us. Thank you, Jim and family, for such a wonderful experience in Killarney! Highly recommended :)

The nicest thing about Gorman’s was Jim. Great host, served up really good breakfasts and tells you everything you need to know the area or even beyond your travel plans. He’s a real gem. Has a great sense of humor too. Otherwise, accommodations are average. Rooms are a bit small. There were two of us. Putting the twin beds together to make a king was a challenge. It was cramped to say the least.

Jim, innkeeper, is a great cook, provides good travel info, and is friendly/outgoing. Nice setting in the country but reas8nably close to killarney. We woukd return.

Great comfortable stay with a host ready to give great tips to us, the tourists new to the area.

Jim was friendly and gave us very good advice re our excursions. Breakfast menu had several choices. Beds were comfortable. Lots of parking on the property. Convenient location to Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula, as well as Killarney National Park. No one was there when we arrived during check-in hours, so we had to wait 15 minutes. The room and bathroom were very small and the shower was weak. WiFi had been upgraded and worked well.

The host and hostess were remarkably warm, welcoming and so very helpful. Our trip to Ireland would not have been the same without this stay. It’s a must if you’re in the area.

we had a problem with our trip due to a cancelled flight and the folks were so nice and accommodating. quick with a joke, clean and homey, would highly recommend staying here.
