Excellent location!

Excelente hotel, no te asustes al ver la entrada, es una maravilla por dentro, con amenidades y atenciones super especiales.

An absolutely wonderful property, right in the heart of Madrid center. Next to Puerta Del Sol, tons of restaurants and shopping you could not ask for a better location! The staff is super friendly, the rooms are comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. I will 100% return!!

2nd time staying here, amazing both times. The staff is incredibly accommodating, have loads of local info. The area is central, the price is good, and very safe. The morning pastries are a nice touch, but the basement free cafe is amazing, coffee, juice, biscuits, fresh fruit, perfect! Will absolutely come back again.

Good: staff very helpful, coffee and tea and sacks facilities are good. Very helpful when the Pope visiting. They gave us information how to get back to the airport as there were roads closure and the public transport was suspended. The location is convenient. Air conditioning is good. Not good at all: our room was next to the building which was refurbishing. It was noisy when the rubbish was passing down to the rubbish skips. We accept certain level of noise. Our room was at the back of the hotel. The noise from the pass by, the delivery lorries and street cleaning lorry was noisy. The hotel needs to improve the glazing to block the noise. We could hear the music from the rooftop bar.

Great location. Good service (thanks to Marco for putting new batteries in the safe day 1). We stayed 6 days. Glad we got the premium room - very large, nice for a long stay. 2 minute walk to Puerta del Sol - very convenient but a little loud late into the night. Rooftop bar might have also contributed to the noise level. They were doing construction on building next door. That noise started about 7:00. Still - a wonderful hotel, happy with our stay there.

Heart of downtown. Close to everything. You can walked to one side to the places and beyond a d thw other side to the Parque (equivalent to central park) and back. Great location. Building clean and room modern and clean. Bed comfy. Woke up to a baggie of small pastry and water at my door. Pleasant surprise. Very strategic location. Would recommend.

The location was very good - right in the center of Madrid steps away from Plaza del Sol. My room was just okay. It was small and spartan in appointments which I don’t mind, but others might expect more - no stocked mini-bar or in-room coffee machine here (although the hotel does have a little cafe with nice coffee machines that will make you free lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) My one complaint is that I had a room on the top (5th) floor. There is a rooftop bar right above the top floor and although the noise was fairly muffled, it was still loud enough to be annoying.

Coffee bar available 24 hours, self serve with fruit and pastries - tables and sofa - very nice.

The entrance to the hotel is horrible, it's through a small door between two buildings and you need to find your way to entrance through tables of the tapas restaurant with all your luggage. The towels were not clean, they were changed daily but each time we've got a dirty one, the hotel might need to change the washing or drying machine they're using. On the positive, we've stayed here for 3 nights during a hot time of the year and the air conditioning was good, staff were helpful and the location was almost perfect.

Worth the price. Close to everything. If you take the train from the airport to Sol, the hotel is just a short walk away. Great staff and excellent amenities.

Spacious clean room in the heart of Madrid. Easy access to food and metro. There is a lot of night activity, so can be crowded and noisy on the street. And the entry sign is a bit difficult to spot. Overall all a good value for budget travel. Staff was very nice

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Madrid Centro Puerta del Sol. The location was perfect — right in the heart of Madrid and within walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet despite the central location. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making everything very easy and welcoming. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras, like the free pastries and bottled water delivered to the room every morning. The complimentary food and snacks available 24/7 in the lounge were also a fantastic touch and made our stay even more comfortable and convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and we would happily stay here again when visiting Madrid.

Excellent location, close to Plaza Puerta del Sol, easy waking distance to everything! There is also a restaurant above the hotel that has a fabulous rooftop bar! We arrived earlier in the day and loved that we were able to leave our bag until check in time and again after we checked out. The room was clean, had what we needed and the bed was comfortable! We especially appreciated the air conditioning as it was 33/90F during our stay. We would stay here again.
