Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance from major attractions in the Center of Santiago, also close to M stations. Hotel has historic charm, which I appreciate, but could make good use of a face-lift (painting and furniture primarily). Breakfast is limited and slowly served in the morning; it needs improvement in the way it is handled. Reception staff were very helpful and internet connection is strong.

The hotel has a lovely old world charm about it. The staff are warm and friendly. The hotel is in a good location downtown. However the bathroom was extremely small 1.5m X 1.5m which is a little bit inconvenient especially in the shower cubicle. It appears all the rooms open out onto or are above the cafe on ground floor. From 8pm to 8am the rooms are very quiet but the chatter and chair moving is constant from the cafe and can be a bit annoying if in your room during the day. The breakfast was only one option. The same served to everyone but was okay. But a buffet would be better. I was mildly happy with the hotel but would probably choose elsewhere next time

We are two women from the USA in our 60s who stayed here for ten days, and we loved it. The staff was wonderful: helpful, patient with our Spanish, and friendly yet professional (special thanks to Jose!). The building is beautiful, our rooms were quite comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast (you can order cappuccinos etc if you don’t like Nescafé). The location was great for walking and the subway (Uber is also easy here). We would love to return.

The hotel is well located and is in a safe area The room was not overly large and is a bit dated. Some noise does come up from the internal cafe downstairs with loud talking and furniture. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A number of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very quiet and safe. They serve a beautiful breakfast that comes with the room. The front desk is very friendly and helpful to english speaking guests.

The Hotel is nearby metro station, easy to travel around the city low fee Breackfast service is good, coffee, yogur with granola, orange juice, sanwich or bread toast with butter and cream. Close to goverment buildings and (presidential house, cathedral, etc.) nearby you have shoppings and malls not as big as Las condes or Arauco. but if you're looking to buy there're good options The room is nice and spacious, have all you need bed, extra blanket if it's cold. Have AC and heating equipment The Staff is kind and polite.

It’s quite old and run down. I stay at 30+ hotels per year and it is definitely not a four star hotel.

No pleasant shops nearby; nowhere good to eat nearby. Neighborhood is seedy. Room was dark, hot, and insecure.

The rating on Expedia was 4.5 star hotel. It is a 3 Star at best. Air conditioner hardly worked. It was quite hot thankful to have a fan on full all night to sleep Absolutely no extras- lotion/ room water/ room had 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived - had to ask for more toilet paper and towels as the room was never cleaned in 4 days. Hair blow dryer didn’t work, very poor lighting for putting on make up in the bathroom. Very hard to get ready from a women’s point of view. Employees were not attentive - we would like 2 towels- response was I’ll bring them in a while.

Quaint spacious room. Staff very friendly. Packed breakfasts for days with early starts. Great value and location.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were exceptional and accommodated us for an early check-in. Our room was in a decent condition. The complimentary daily continental breakfast was a bonus during our stay.

Hotel close to Metro and downtown only a few blocks away. Staff helpful throughout the stay. Received room on ground floor next to the courtyard, which meant noise till 9pm and also no window in room. Bathroom had a faulty toilet which would constantly flush, Shower drained really slowly. Breakfast was pretty basic and only variety was the filing of the sandwich

A cool, quaint little hotel nestled in a real neighborhood of cafes, bakeries, and shops. It was a few minutes walk to the historic downtown and all it offers. This was a nice change from the faceless sterile hotel chains.

No a/c, instead a portable machine, which doesn't cool, but makes very loud noise. Everything is old and outdated, needs renovation at least once in 50 years, no? In 4 nighrs never changed bed linens, nor towels. Do not recommend at all.

Staff was great, helped with an extra late check in and check out (providing snacks at checkout since we wouldn't be able to have breakfast). Organizing a ride to and from the airport was also easy through them. Room was clean but a bit dark and squeeky floors. Good stay overall

centrally located near subway. short walk to Lastarria and many great restaurants. Nice, helpful staff. Good WiFi and areas to use computer.

The staff were very helpful. The hotel had lots of charm and history. Breakfast was good. The location is not in a tourist part of the city which was disappointing at first but allowed us to see more of Santiago.
