the hotel is nice. the location’s great and the place is clean. But I was quite disappointed with the check-in experience. I specifically booked a room with one king bed, and it was clearly stated in my booking. When I arrived, the staff told me that the room type I booked was fully booked, even though it still showed as available on the app.
They gave me only two options: upgrade to a suite by paying an extra 1.5 million IDR, or take a twin bed room instead. I was really disappointed because I expected a complimentary upgrade since it wasn’t my fault, not to pay extra.
The only “compensation” I got was a welcome drink, which I think is something every guest already gets. Hopefully next time, the hotel can manage the room availability more accurately so guests don’t have to deal with this kind of issue.
