The hotel's central location makes it easy to shop at Thamsi Market and the central business district. However, upon arriving or returning to the hotel after midnight, the parking lot lights were turned off, creating a spooky atmosphere. The elevator leading directly to the hotel lobby was also out of service, forcing us to use the west elevator, which required navigating through poorly lit corridors between the ground-floor kiosks and the parking lot.

The service is fast, friendly, and responsive. The room is small but everything works well. The breakfast is quite good, but most importantly, the location is really cool, right in the city center, and you can find any kind of food (any kind of food you name it) just walking distance, or if you want to shop here and there, it's close by.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay — the location was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth. However, the room comfort could be improved. The aircond had a slightly musty smell and the cleanliness of the room wasn’t up to expectations. Hopefully, these areas can be improved for a better experience in the future.

Stay in Amaris Thamrin City for 2 nights. It was great. The distance, service, and access. Requested a room with a view, turns out the view is quite good even though it's far from the elevator.

This is my first time staying at Amaris Thamrin and the experience I got was the friendliness of the Amaris staff who were incredibly helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast menu was varied. If I go to Jakarta on business again, I will definitely stay at Amaris Thamrin again, and of course I will recommend this hotel to my friends who will be on business in Jakarta.
