The staff and service were very good and satisfying, but in the room, the mattress had a slight smell that didn't suit the nose.

Everything about the hotel is perfect except cleanliness in the room needs more attention. Bathroom facilities need an upgrade as pipes were leaking, and the worst was the breakfast time. Very few staff and it was a havoc. 20 people in line and only one person at the egg station, breads were hard and not fresh, asked for hot milk but it never came, plates and cutleries were not properly cleaned. It's a pity that the hotel couldn’t keep up the restaurant service.

I have stayed several times at Ibis TSM Bandung, as I always chose this hotel for all my Bandung visits due to its convenient location and spacious, comfortable room. I usually give good reviews for Ibis TSM, but unfortunately I cannot give it full-star this time, as I have a few complaints. Cleanliness: - Bed sheet is not clean. Not only did it have multiple stains on the sheet and blanket, there are also grainy dust/sand particles on the bed. I suspect it hasn't been cleaned properly before I checked in. - Some insect also managed to find its way to my room. I mean, okay I can get rid of it, no big deal. But really? -__- - The towel and mat also have stains. - The same grainy dust/sand particles are also all over the bathroom floor. - The bathroom floor is frankly speaking a bit disgusting with those yellow/brown spots under the wash basin. Technical: - The mini fridge is broken. The hotel staffs are all very friendly and helpful, of course. But I wish I didn't have to call housekeeping in the middle of the night to fix things that should've been mandatorily prepared before check in (cleaning the bed sheets and bathroom, making sure the fridge is working). Furthermore, I'm grateful for Ibis TSM for holding a watch-together for the 3rd Place and Final Matches of FIFA World Cup 2026, but I would appreciate it if staffs informed me in advance that the Final Match screening is a paid event. I asked about the watch-together during check in, no info about it being a paid event. I attended the 3rd Place Match; it was totally free as I just have to come down to the outdoor restaurant and sit with the other guests. But the next day, when I came down to watch the Final Match, suddenly all tables are already reserved by large groups, and I was told to pay Rp 150,000 at the entrance if I want to get a seat. The amount of money was not the issue. I just wish the hotel would've informed me properly instead of charging me on the spot out of the blue.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a wide selection of breakfast options. Unfortunately, the soup served outside (in the smoking area) was too salty for me, making it unpalatable. However, the other food was very good. The location is also strategic, just a short walk to the mall, and there are plenty of culinary options nearby.

The elevator wait was incredibly long. There are four elevators, but two only go to a certain floor, with the rest going to the other two. The wait was incredibly long, with six people and a suitcase in the elevator, and it was already making noise. Perhaps the elevators need to be upgraded in quantity and quality. But otherwise, it was excellent.

The service was okay for the front office receptionist and was upgraded to a new room.

I stayed in room 1407 at the Ibis Trans Studio Hotel in Bandung. There are several things that need improvement: 1. The bathroom is too small and the water drains poorly, so when I take a shower, the shower water leaks out of the bath area. The bathroom gets a bit flooded because the water from the shower doesn't drain properly. 😞 2. The drinks in the breakfast area are tasteless, like the chocolate drink, which has a bland chocolate flavor, and the apple and pineapple drink is also bland. 😞 3. It turns out the Ibis Hotel no longer has a swimming pool, even though the reviews said there was one. It turns out it was the Trans Hotel swimming pool. 😞 4. The room access card is prone to errors, so I can't get in when I try to enter the room. 5. The elevator in the parking area is often under maintenance, so I had to use the emergency stairs to get up to the hotel lobby (I parked in the second basement, so it was quite a climb up the stairs to the lobby). 😞 Hopefully, this can be improved in the future. I booked two rooms with breakfast for three days for one adult and one child per room, a total of four people eating for two rooms as stated on the booking receipt. The first day went well, breakfast for two adults and two children. On the second day, I was refused, only one adult and one child were allowed. I complained to the staff, but they responded that it was just a mistake from the staff, with no apology or compensation for the breakfast we had already paid. On the third day, I was also refused by the staff. I was only shown proof of booking before I could check in. Hopefully, this kind of disappointment will not happen again in the future, as I use hotels in the Accor network.

The staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out, the room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was also spotless. The room was soundproofed, so you could rest comfortably.

The staff is really great, really friendly. The rooms are okay, the breakfast is delicious.
