With its competitive price, the Mahkota Hotel Genteng is a pleasant experience. The rooms are small but adequate for a short stopover after the 8-hour overland journey from Kediri to Genteng.

Check-in took a long time, and check-out was also slow, with ID cards still being held even though they were ordered from the app. The breakfast menu was incomplete, with only one option.

The breakfast menu lacked variety. The only side dishes were chicken in coconut milk and crackers, and even then, the quantity was limited. Many guests received only fried rice, mixed vegetables, and crackers. Asking for an omelet required additional payment.

The hotel is very clean, the AC is cold, the bathroom is clean.. Highly recommended for business trips...

Actually, the hotel was pretty good, but the bad thing that happened to me was that my room door was suddenly opened by the cleaning staff, even though the admin had previously confirmed to me that I was checking out on the 5th, without knocking, I had already locked the door, and it was suddenly opened. I had just finished taking a shower and wanted to change my clothes. I was shocked and immediately got into the blanket, and I was shocked to the point of tremors.

The check-out process was lengthy. The room wasn't cleaned unless confirmed, even though the room was stated to be cleaned daily.
