This is just my opinion, perhaps more as someone who is used to staying in 4-5 star hotels. Actually, overall I was very satisfied with my experience staying at Bogor Valley Hotel. However, there are also a few things I want to share in case they can be taken into consideration: Positives: + The location is quite strategic: close to everywhere including Bogor Station, Bogor Square, Summarecon Bogor and even if you want to go to Puncak it is still affordable. + Very friendly staff: This is indeed one of the strongest plus points in Bogor Valley. I am very happy with how the staff here treated me and they were very communicative. + The food is quite good: the variety is not much but it doesn't matter to me, the important thing is that it is delicious. As delicious as five star hotel food? Maybe not. But for hotel standards the food is good. The coffee is also good, not sour. + Comfortable room: overall the room is comfortable, clean, neat, cool + Complete facilities: for the basics are complete. There are soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, drinking water are also provided. No need to bring your own However, there are things that I think could be improved, namely trivial things but still have an impact on my experience: - The lighting is strange: one overhead light is yellow, one is white, one is who knows what else. It makes my eyes a little dizzy. In the end, I didn't use the lights during my stay - I borrowed a hairdryer, but I didn't get it: actually, maybe it was my fault too, I just wanted to wait about half an hour because I wanted to get something to eat, but in the end I didn't get it (I initially wanted to borrow it because I was soaked when I arrived at the hotel). - The hot water isn't very hot: actually, it's okay, but I like to shower with hot water that's so hot that I turn into a boiled crab. I failed to become a boiled crab here - The sink: I don't know why someone closed the sink hole and I tried to force the lid open but it didn't work.

I arrived at 2 o'clock and thought I could check in straight away, but it turned out they were still preparing it, and then I checked in at 3 o'clock. There was a 100k deposit for the key, but cash was the only payment, not a non-cash payment. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the noise outside (in the hallway) was quite audible.
