The place is nice in the middle of the city center.

My first time in Bukittinggi, I stayed at the Ambun Suri Hotel. It's strategically located near the Clock Tower, Ateh Market, the Panoramic View of Ngarai Sianok, and the zoo. If you get hungry at night, you can also find food nearby. The hotel staff is friendly, the room is cleaned daily, and the breakfast is delicious. I was so engrossed in my sightseeing that I forgot to document the hotel, and only have photos of it from a distance. Yesterday, even though I got a fan room, it was still cold, as Bukittinggi is indeed cold.

The room had a hair tie under the sheet. Everywhere there was a warning to turn off the water tap. There was no air conditioning, just a short walk from the Clock Tower. Very minimalist.

Try checking every closet in the room because the closet in my room leaks water when the closet lever is used, so it's not comfortable.

Strategic location. The food is decent, but there's no elevator, so getting to the upper floors is a bit of an effort.

Good hotel for Bukittinggi tourism

The rooms are beautiful and pleasant. Even the kids want to stay here again when they come to Bukittinggi. Room 301 will always be in their memories.

The service is good and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and tidy. It's also close to the Jam Gadang tourist attraction, the zoo, and the Japanese Cave.

Everything is cool and fun. It's close to the Clock Tower, just a short walk away, and it's easy to find food everywhere. There's also plenty to shop for knick-knacks.

The hotel is really nice, but unfortunately the illegal motorbike racing during sleeping hours is really disturbing.

Overall the hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful to carry things from the lobby to the room, especially since this hotel does not have a lift, this service makes it very easy for visitors. It's just that the room is not soundproof and at night when I stayed there was illegal racing in the area until past 12 midnight. My rest was very uncomfortable and very disturbed by the noise. Hopefully if there is a similar incident, the hotel can be more aware and report it to the authorities for the safety and comfort of guests while resting
