Friendly hotel staff, strategic location

While it looks nice from the front, the room lacks a wardrobe and the TV antenna connection is poor, making it impossible to watch TV. The blankets are dirty and look like they haven't been changed, there are cockroaches, and the toilets are like public restrooms with tiny sinks. It's truly an unforgettable experience. I apologize, but the staff service was excellent.

Staying at City Hotel Balikpapan was quite pleasant, access to everywhere was close, the room was clean, when I go to Balikpapan I always stay here.

There's only one power outlet, and it's at the end. Honestly, I don't understand the concept of this hotel. If you really don't want to provide power outlets, you'd be better off not having them. The bathroom is very dirty. The AC isn't cold. The location is strategic, but the hotel is disappointing.

Overall good, but next time please pay attention to the bedsheets. There are blood stains. It's better to replace them. Even though they may have been washed, they are still inappropriate in my opinion.

I have stayed here several times and am always a regular, because it is close to the city, comfortable and recommended.

I don't know why the elevator won't work, it's really tiring if you're unlucky enough to get a room on the 4th or 3rd floor. Hopefully it will get better.

for the size of the room I booked is relatively moderate, but there must be some places that need special attention to be cleaned.. for example for the toilet.. please clean it more thoroughly.. the cupboard door hinges came off but were not repaired.. at breakfast time there were no employees to check the availability of food, so that when other guests wanted to eat the stock had run out..

Check in was supposed to be at 2 but we were told to wait until past 3, and there was no hot water to shower.
