We stayed during the super high season. Understandably, the staff wasn't very helpful. Upon check-in, we carried our own suitcases to our room without assistance. Other guests were assisted. Elevator availability was limited. We repeatedly shared the elevator with bellboys carrying luggage trolleys. The staff also showed no intention of giving guests the go-ahead. But what we disliked most was the very dim lighting in the hallway.

We love the room, the bed, the bathroom, and the huge swimming pool. Not to forget how indulging the breakfast menu variety is. Will definitely return for more.

The swimming pool is very comfortable, especially for children.

The hotel is comfortable, aesthetic, and still maintains pleasing traditional Javanese design elements. One caveat is the slightly odd bathroom design. Access to the toilet requires going through the shower room, which keeps it constantly wet.

The staff is super friendly. The receptionist, bellboy, restaurant staff, everyone. Also, make sure to stop by the rooftop restaurant. If you're lucky, you can watch a beautiful sunset while enjoying your afternoon tea. I'll definitely stay at this hotel if I ever visit Solo again.

The service was very satisfactory, the room was clean, perfect after a long trip. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and delicious. What I really enjoyed was the clean room, the clean, white, and fragrant towels.

The bathroom drain smelled a bit, and the bedroom light was having electrical issues and wouldn't turn off. The technician tried to fix it until midnight. 😅

We had a very pleasant stay at Alila Solo, traveling with my wife and our children. We booked a Deluxe Room, and overall, the experience exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and well maintained. While I initially expected it to be slightly more spacious, it was still comfortable and perfectly adequate for a family stay. The bathroom was particularly nice, well designed, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped. The level of cleanliness throughout the room was excellent. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. In addition to a generous buffet with a wide range of choices, we were also offered an à la carte menu. I tried the smashed avocado, which was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. This combination of buffet and à la carte options made the breakfast experience feel premium and relaxed. After breakfast, we spent some time enjoying coffee at the Sky Lounge on the upper floor (around level 30). The view was stunning, without doubt one of the best spots in Solo to enjoy the city skyline. The atmosphere was calm and refined, making it a perfect place to unwind. I also had the chance to use the gym, which was spacious, well designed, and equipped with excellent, well-maintained equipment. The environment was clean and comfortable, making workouts enjoyable. Above all, what truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. The level of helpfulness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth shown by everyone we encountered was exceptional. Their professionalism and care made our stay feel effortless and truly memorable. Overall, Alila Solo offers a high-quality stay with excellent facilities, outstanding service, and a great city view. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return. Thank you to the entire Alila Solo team for a wonderful experience.

The 4 days in Solo were so much fun, I want to go back again and again when I go to Solo later.
