Price made no sense for the quality of the room, which should have been at least half of it. No curtains, no towels, very old and smelly bathroom. Having said that the location is ideal and the staff super nice.

The price is very pocket-friendly with facilities and cleanliness that are very well taken care of plus a calm atmosphere. I stayed overnight on Saturday night. Sunday morning began with the sound of a church choir. Aah cool.

Suitable for staying before seeing the sunrise at Lake Kelimutu. Very strategic and comfortable. Place to stay and also restaurant. The owners, Mr. Tobias and his wife are very very kind, very helpful to the people staying, providing the information needed. Breakfast sandwich, the bread is delicious. Always healthy Mr. Tobias and family.

excellent service! The owner is so good. The food mostly are western menu, the taste is so yummy, don’t judge it by the cover. We just had spaghetti cheese + garlic sandwich, but our tummy is full and we like it. the breakfast is enough, but so minimalist. The room is so clean & comfortable. We might be back again☺️

I booked Bintang Lodge on the recommendation of my friend and it was the right choice. Mr. Tobias who manages Bintang Lodge is a person who is friendly, helpful and always cares for the needs of his guests. Although the homestay was almost full, he tried his best so I could still stay there. I feel very welcomed with him, his family and his team. Plus, Mr. Tobias is always ready to help to find the right solution and support my traveling plan, do I need a motorbike to take a walk alone, or I need a car to go to Kelimutu and info about trekking, he is always patient and ready to help. I highly recommend Bintang Lodge for all travelers who are not just looking for a place to sleep, but like to share and find new experiences while traveling.
