The owner was kind. It happened to be off-peak season. There was no elevator, so I asked for a lower room. I got a free upgrade, which made it more spacious. The hot water in the bathroom didn't work, and it didn't feel hot. It's recommended to bring your own toothpaste, as it's not provided. This is reasonable considering the affordable price. The hallway smelled a bit damp. The location is excellent, strategic, and easy to find food. It's close to Mahkota Hospital, the harbor, and the Mahkota Parade shopping center. It's also close to Dataran Pahlawan Mall.

Most basic room I've had in years. No water, coffee, kettle, TV, or mini fridge in the room, but there is a water dispenser if you have your own bottle to fill. My room was facing the road, which was noisy all night. The bed linen is filthy with ground-in sweat and marks. I honestly could not tell if it's just from years of guest use or just not been washed recently. The bed is provided with a blanket, not a duvet in a sheet. I never trust a hotel in any country that these are clean. I don't believe they get washed after each guest visit, so tossed that to one side of the bed. I had to poorly sleep in my clothes fully covered, then when I checked out, I immediately went to do laundry. Of the 2 towels provided, only one looked barely clean enough to use to shower with. Shower temp was warm enough. Walls are grubby and stained, need painting. In the shower room, the paint is peeling from the ceiling. Only one electric point to charge your devices. No lift. Minor plus points: there are mini marts and food places nearby, and to walk into the center is not far. Owners need to rename Best One Hotel to Worst One Hotel Inn Malacca!!

I liked the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. It was very affordable. The service was also excellent. I will definitely come back here again.

You get what you pay for. The only positives are easy access, and there's a restaurant next door that serves a variety of food. For the low price, you'll have to accept the room's condition as it is. The room was so-so, but it's worth the price.

It's quite cheap but the hotel is old school, the sheets are dull and there's a lot of dirt next to the bed.

This is not my first, second or third stay in Best One Hotel, everytime I come to Melaka I always stay here, eventhough I get room on 2nd or 3rd floor, but its OK. Location is the best, beside hotel there is a local resto with 100 kind dishes, many cheap resto near hotel, massage and food court. Only walking distance to Mahkota Medical Center, less than 5 minutes, its rekomended hotel if you come to Melaka for medical treatment or holiday

First, I apologize, I don't have a photo about this hotel, but I've known this hotel since before the Covid era, and it's getting better and better. What I like most is the hotel location and its surrounding, walking distance to Mahkota Hospital and Malls. It's recommended.

BEst One Hotel I know since 2019, before Covid, and its getting better and better. The Staff is consider friendly, room clean, and location is great, just side of restaurant. Wifi certain area is ok. btw there is no TV inside the room will consire to re visit next time

In terms of price, it is very cheap, suitable for those who need a temporary place, but the AC is not cold, the water works, the toilet is a bit dirty, there are rusty pieces in the toilet
