‘Unethical Pricing & Poor Service ❌’
The room came with:
• A small refrigerator
• A hair dryer
• A kettle
• Complimentary bottled water & instant coffee
• Basic toiletries
• An iron (available on Level 1)
HOWEVER, it was both disappointing and surprising that a 3-star hotel does not provide slippers; guests are required to pay 20 THB per pair if they want them.
More seriously, the shower drainage in Room 710 is severely inadequate, causing significant water buildup during bathing. This issue must be fixed immediately, as it is entirely unacceptable and inexcusable for a hotel of this standard.
Additionally, during the recent flooding, the hotel was observed to have marked up room rates, which felt unethical and disappointing, especially during a time when many travelers were affected and in need of accommodation.
Overall, the stay was only passable. Considering its award-winning status, the hotel’s in-room amenities and basic facilities fall far short of expectations.
With unresolved maintenance issues and questionable pricing practices, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel ❌❌❌
