The bed was very comfortable. The room and the bathroom are very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's within walking distance to M PARADE FAMILY STORE SDN BHD so you can buy your gift chocolate or snack there. Much cheaper than at the airport. Also within walking distance to many great food: ATLANTIC NYONYA @ MELAKA RAYA, Ee Ji Ban Chicken Rice Ball, Restoran Tong Sheng, Teo Chew Bak Kut Teh, etc. Will definitely come back again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hatten Hotel Melaka. The rooms, bathrooms, and public areas were clean, leading me to extend my stay for 2–3 additional days. The location is excellent, close to shopping centers and right near Mahkota Medical Center. However, I hope the management can take this as constructive feedback regarding our interaction with the front desk. The staff member who helped us (if I remember correctly, Ms. Zahira) did offer solutions to our questions, but her approach felt quite cold and unwelcoming. She did not smile and responded in a very sharp, brief tone, which gave the impression that she was annoyed by our questions—even though we were simply trying to understand despite the language barrier. A little more warmth and patience from front-line staff would make a huge difference in guest experience. Additionally, when I made a wrong-date booking error, the hotel was unfortunately not very accommodating in providing a simple clearance note for the agent's refund process—despite our stay involving two rooms over several days. I hope the management can look into further customer service training for the front-line team, as the hotel itself has so much potential. Thank you for the comfortable stay, and I hope to see even better service in the future!

The best hotel in Malacca..if I go to Malacca again, I will choose Hatten Hotel as my place to stay.

You save a few bucks on transportation as almost all prominent historical buildings are within walking distance from this hotel, and there are a few Baba Nyonya eateries nearby. For my dear Muslim travelers, please check the halal status, okay?

I love this hotel. The ambiance is top-notch, the buffet spread is generous. Hardly to book during the weekend. I can easily access the shopping mall to get my things and going to historical attractions is only a walking distance.

This hotel has become our go-to hotel whenever we visit Melaka. There's a direct bus from the airport to the Mahkota Medical Center area. It's close to the mall and dining area. Our last stay was a bit disappointing because the room wasn't cleaned even though the cleaning light was on. The room was cleaned after we called housekeeping, but the cleaning wasn't optimal, as the table was still dusty. Some areas of the room could use some renovation, as the wallpaper was starting to peel in places. Nevertheless, this hotel remains our first choice whenever we visit Melaka.

The only comment is the hotel will still need to pay for the car parking for a flat rate with 24 hours validity.
