The Commodore was fine for a short stay. It was in the Keystoke area which is about 5 miles. from WSMThe hotel was rather dated but clean and welcoming. The room faced the road which led to the Pontins complex further down the road so traffic could be heard some of the time. The lady on reception was welcoming g and friendly and she seemed to multi tasking most of the time.
Overall it was o.k and exactly as described

Excellent location with ample free parking. Good breakfast and a varied evening menu. The decor may be a bit tired and dated and the floorboards a bit creaky! But it never stops me coming back. A gem.

Made me feel so welcome from the start warm and comfortable room .I am not a breakfast person but was offered fruit, cereal, eggs, toast, cheese. This is the first hotel that the breakfast tea was not hot water with milk. I shall be going again

Staff polite, friendly and very capable but the place lacked atmosphere.
