Awesome location, with ocean view, friendly staff, excellent food/breakfast, would come back for sure! Totally recommended!

The hotel is right turning the beach and walkable to restaurants. Hotel staff friendly and speak English - nothing was too much drama. Hvar is a 15 min taxi ride and the hotel have a deal with a company 18euro one way and very accessible.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Fortuna. It’s a charming, family-run hotel set in the serene village of Milna, just a short drive from the busy town of Hvar. The atmosphere was calm, the setting was stunning, and the hospitality truly stood out. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a balcony overlooking the peaceful bay. The views were beautiful, especially in the early morning and at sunset. It’s the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful — nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and varied, with lots of local touches. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent — fresh seafood and delicious local wine. The location is ideal if you’re looking to escape the crowds of Hvar town while still being within easy reach. The only minor downside is the cost of taxis, which were consistently €20 each way for an 8-minute journey into Hvar — a bit steep given the distance. However, the quiet and natural beauty of Milna more than made up for it. If you’re after a more relaxed, authentic experience on Hvar Island, Hotel Fortuna is a wonderful choice.

I don’t often review but our stay here was just so incredible. You should absolutely book to stay here. They include your taxi from the port and so it was very easy to get here. The rooms had incredible blue ocean views, made for incredible sunsets. Private beach so nice and quiet compared to the main town. The staff was SO friendly. Would bring you drinks to the pool and food to your room. I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay. Your own private villa on the ocean with the bonus of wonderful attentive staff. The included breakfast is amazing with a great fresh selection and property made pastries. I’d definitely stay again. In May, Transport to Hvar is 15 Euro each way. The property is spotless. Great value. Ocean front rooms are lovely.

This is a "boutique" hotel that is located in a small cove on the island. There is a patio on the beach for food and drinks. We never saw more than 5 people on this small "private" beach. Recommend highly.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fortuna! Martin was so kind and helpful throughout our stay! The breakfast is amazing and the lady who cooks all the breakfast is an absolute gem! We were so happy to have found an adorable place to stay in Hvar! Would love to be back one day!

The staff are very nice and will help you in anyway you need help. The hotel is not walkable to the town and you must take a taxi ride to reach it.

Charming hotel, right by the beach with charming people. Fab room and we were really impressed

The friendliness of the staff stood out for my wife and I. Beach was not too busy and was only 1 min walk away. Breakfast was nice and restaurant was very good as well. Room was clean and hotel was very peaceful and quiet. Town of Milna is small and very walkable. Only thing to be mindful of is that you need to take a taxi whenever you want to go to Hvar Old town where you will find all the ferry ports/sites/action, which can be a little expensive and inconvenient when you want to walk back to your hotel at night. But it was also nice to be a little out of the hustle & bustle at Fortuna which is what we were looking for at this point in our trip. Overall a great stay!

Had a fabulous 3-night stay at Hotel Fortuna as part of our longer trip in Slovenia and Croatia. The hotel is close to Hvar but on a gorgeous and much quieter bay - lovely swimming, paddleboard hire and great family restaurants very close. The hotel itself is great, family run, lovely pool, great breakfast and really friendly staff.

Great Hotel, stayed one night but it was relaxing

We had a great stay. Fortuna is family run hotel. It has an Awesome setting on the beach in a little town but still just 5 min drive the Hvar town. The staff was really helpful and we were really comfy in our room. We booked a room for 3 and our daughter slept in a convertible single bed. There was still plenty of room with the extra bed which was really nice.

We had an amazing holiday from start to finish. The hotel is right by the beach and it's definitely worth booking a room with sea view. The bay is really pretty and you can hire sunbeds, umbrellas and kayaks. The hotel swimming pool is on the top floor and has fabulous views. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the bay. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Daily cleaning with restocked toiletries, tea and coffee. The fridge and aircon were really good to have in the heat. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge selection of cooked and chiller food. Freshly baked cakes and pastries by Jasmina were delicious. I can't praise the staff enough! They were all so friendly, helpful and happy to help. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, we will be back one day x

Very accommodating

This is a family run hotel, and this is exactly what they make you feel like, one of the family. From check in to check out, everything is done in such a lovely and efficient manner. We,were soon on first name terms with Josephina, marino, martin, dragan, and wonderful chef, yasmina. The property itself, was very nice, with beautiful views, over a very quiet and secluded beach in one direction, an unspoilt, quaint harbour the other way. I stayed with 4 friends, and we all agreed, our stay at Fortuna, was perfect and we would all love to return one day.
